Too funny!!!!

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

Odds are that the car has needed repairs. What the poster FAILS to acknowledge is that it was a used car and repairs are EXPECTED!! When ever you purchase a new used vehicle there will always be issues that need to be taken care of. The previous owner isnt going to tell the dealership that XX is wrong with the vehicle. No they quietly traded in the vehicle, they do a cursory check to ensure it runs and no major issues are present, wash the trade in  and put it up for sale. No big mystery here.

You MAY find relief under your states "LEMON LAW" but if you signed even one piece of paper that states your vehicle purchase is "AS IS" then there is no remedy for you.

I find it HILARIOUS that "Youre going to a lawyer". You and I both KNOW thats an empty threat. Meant only to scare the dealership into giving you your way. Sorry buddy, but THEY have better lawyers then you can afford to retain. Get over it and get your car fixed. The dealership IS NOT going to do anything for you. Each and everyone who has rebutted your post is a volenteer for this site. We are ALL just regular consumers. But we have spent enough time HERE to see how things run. Your post runs into the "too funny" catagory.

Youre ranting and raving and blustering when you dont have a leg to stand on. Thats why its so funny. Its like a 6 year old telling eveyone hes going to get his daddy to beat them up. THATS why its so funny. You got screwed on a used vehicle. YOU signed paperwork that states the vehicle is as is. You are attempting to use the web to get your way by using social blackmail. It wont work. Maybe 4 years ago it MIGHT have, but businesses have gotten smart and realize that the consumer will SAY ANYTHING to get their way. So good luck in your fight. No one here is going to advise you to retain a lawyer because you have no case and probably couldnt afford to retain one for the duration anyways.

Call that "lawyer"

AUTHOR: Stacey - ()

Because you have no case!! Maybe if you had a mechanic check out the vehicle before you bought it then you would be saved a world of hurt.  As for your "intelligence" your lack of the GRAMMAR proves that fact.

Give it up..

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

It is obvious that the poster is not going to "get it", so you might as well just let them wallow in their on ignorance.

They are never going to post court information because it would only show that they were wrong.  That they in fact did buy the car "As-Is".  That they didn't have the car inspected before they bought it.  Oh and that they didn't buy any type of extended warranty.

But now when it needs a repair(which they never even said what it was) they all of the sudden turn on their "Subprime Attitude" and say...well I am not going to pay it and call "my" lawyer.  The reason I say they go back to this..well if they ended up at a Subprime lender, that means they have already screwed their credit.  Where it is almost a given that in the past something else didn't go their way and their solution to that was the same..to just stop paying on their legal obligations.

The Bottom Line

AUTHOR: coast - ()

The FIRST thing a lawyer is going to ask is: Did your vehicle purchase include a written warranty or was this an AS-IS purchase?

What the other posters are TRYING to tell you is that it DOES matter if you bought it AS-IS...

AUTHOR: Ken - ()

That means any and ALL repairs are on you...no warranty.  It appears you're not smart enough to comprehend this.

Please let us know what your "lawyer" tells you and when you file your lawsuit.  Post the date and venue along with the docket number of your case so we can all follow it.  Being the DEADBEAT that you ARE, you don't have and won't be able to get a lawyer to take this.  You are just making things up to try to look good.

BTW, who is this "lawyer" you're calling?   Pretty silly, huh?

FIRST First and most important question

AUTHOR: Auto dealer fraud Investigator - ()

Did you or did you not buy this car as is yes or no? Did you sign a document that says that you refuse to buy a warranty ? How many miles does the car have on it ? You have to tell us all of the story not just one side.

If you bought a used car warranty, a used car warranty does not cover everything on the car. I am willing to bet that you probably have some speed bumps in your credit history, am I correct?

Having speed bumps in your credit history limits you as to how reliable of a vehicle you can buy. Now get busy and tell us the rest of the story. You didn't even tell us what kind of car you bought how many miles are on it and what kind of troubles you are having. So many people are willing to squeal like a stuck pig if something goes wrong but they're not willing to do their homework before they sign any contract. Remember you bought a used car there's no warranty on the planet that will guarantee you treatment as if you bought a new car.

So let's work together and get a check up from the neck up and post the rest of the story.

Warranty?

AUTHOR: ramjet - ()

Does the car have a written warranty or did you purchase it 'as-is'?

That's the key question isn't it?
