*Consumer Comment: What does the lease say?
Drivetime lease a 2008 Chevy HHR LS Panel first of all this car trade in value is worth a fraction of what I paid for it when I switched jobs and my paydads changed they told me that they cannot change my due dates but I have never missed a payment and the total amount I have paid for this rat trap is $5600.00 and I informed them that there was some mechanical problems 1400 worth of work needs to be done they informed me that i need to pay for it but under a lease contract you are not required by law to pay for that I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau this dealership needs to be shut down immediately

What does the lease say?

When you lease a vehicle the terms are in the lease; including the responsibility for maintenance items. What does your lease say? There are limitations as to what is included in the lease (usually). Remember, you leased a very, very old vehicle so you are bound to have maintenance and repair items pop up right away and all throughout the lease term.
