I was scanning one of the "Buy & Sell" group sites hosted by fb, and ran across an ad seeking anyone with a vehicle to essentially put some non-damaging product on their car as advertisement, and be compansated $400 per week in return. She goes on to leave her name as Kristen (I forget the last name) and an email address  that reflected her as a promo agent for this company called Dub ShowTours. From there, this is what transpired before I decided to do my due diligence and research this Dub Show Tours to find out why they would pay people such huge sums of money to advertise their business since it would seem that if a company had that kind of money to be mailing out to a lot of ramdom people that they had no way of monitoring then, it would seem that whatever marketing strategy got them such a surplus of funds has done well.

This is a copy of the email that I sent to "Kristen:"

Dear Kristen,

I saw your ad for promoting a product that is put on cars for $400/wk. I have a beautiful black 2012 Honda Accord EX with a nice and shiny paint job.  As long as my paint isn't affectedb by your product, I am willing to learn more about it.

My name C-----, and you can call/text me most anytime at 864-xxx-xxxx. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

This is the copy of her response email just under 2 hours later:

How it works

Here's the basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept: DUB
SHOW TOUR MAGAZINE seeks people - regular citizens, not
only professional drivers to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for " DUB SHOW TOUR
MAGAZINE " plastered on your car. The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps," that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car's exterior Surface.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy?
Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic can't avoid seeing the wrapped car beside them. This program will last for 3 months and the minimum period you can participate is 1 month You will be compensated with a $400 (Four hundred dollars per Week), which is essentially a
"rental" payment for letting our company use the space. DUB SHOW TOUR MAGAZINE shall provide experts that would handle the advert placement on your car.

You will receive your 1st week payment of $400 (Four hundred
dollars) in form of check for accepting to carry this advert on your car and other weekly payments will also be delivered at your address weekly.
