Duke Energy Deposit Thieves and Rip Off Artists St Petersburg Florida

 I recieved a bill for $407.72 from Duke Energy for electric shortly after moving into a rental. I had not recieved any paper bill nor e-bill for two months and had been checking my online account. Finally, I show this sizable balance on log in. I look at the bill and it does not make any sense. Upon calculating the totals on the bill, They do not add up. I call the customer service line. She gives me the run around and speeks to me in a condescending manor. She states that if I am late on a payment, the company can keep my deposit. Coincidence that I have not recieved a bill then? I don't think so. Something has to be done about these crooks. I hate this company with every fiber of my being.
