January 2015: For $290.40 (a 20% discount from the regular price) I can generate 3 D&B mid-level reports within 1 year.  That's $96.80 per report.  This mid-level, most popular Business Information Report is supposed to provide D&B Credit Rating, Paydex payment history and other information.  

For reports on smaller business, D&B is most likely not worth it.  My report included: a paydex payment history and rating based on 3 payments!  A financial statement or ratios were not included.  A D&B Credit Rating was not provided because D&B did not have enough information to give a credit rating.    Pretty expensive ... $96.80 to find out that the company paid 3 bills on time.  For us, three transactions do not define a creditable credit history.

Note:  the D&B sales person assured me that D&B would not generate a report on a company unless there was enough data to provide sufficient information to the consumer.

Caveat emptor.   A total ripoff ...
