Dun & Bradstreet Scam - Gatekeeper to DUNS Number / Federal Government Contracts short hills New Jersey

To get a DUNS number, which is required for a Federal contract, you need to go to Dun and Bradstreet.

They've designed the online form to be extremely confusing, and seems to only work on Internet Explorer.

Prominently displayed on their online form is a 800 number. If you call this, you'll be connected not with someone who will help you set up a DUNS number, but instead to an eager salesguy, who will REFUSE to do what Dun & Bradstreet is required by Federal law to do -- givey you a DUNS number.

Instead, the salesguy wants to sell you a package of useless credit-monitoring junk, for $229 or so.

Very handy that bad back-end web development leads to a more profitable outcome for them.

There should be a class action lawsuit and an investigation on why this company is allowed to gatekeep federal contracts in such a clearly unethical way.
