beware of any BR/DD store anywhere. Management is abhorrent, and if you don't get a decent employee serving you you will have a problem. I frequent the E colonial/alafaya store occasionally, and generally order a basic coffee or latte drink. I went there last night, and ordered a latte. The person charged me 1.80 and served me a drink in the drive thru. I asked if it was latte, he said yes, but I still wondered why he charged the lower price when a latte is 3.00. The drink tasted horrible and like some burnt coffee concoction. It definitely didn't taste like the latte they usually serve and I questioned whether it was espresso or just really burnt old coffee. Trying to come out of a bad sore throat, it was not a good experience as my throat and stomach were both aching from the bad drink. I called in the morning to speak to the manager who happened to be the rudest nastiest most pathetic indian male you can imagine. The manager rather than statingwell sorry.about your ordeal statedit cant be latte b/c latte is fresh and had to be coffee. Who cares manager.you served a bad drink, get over it comp it and move on. He said what u want me to do about it-- you want another? well yeah of course I want another drinkI got a stomachache, throat ache, and ripped off of a drink I never got. He asked for my phone number and said hed call back. of course there was no necessity in asking for my # because this is over a 3.00 coffee drink. Was he attempting to research the history fo the situation? His behavior was odd and he wasnt apologetic and just seemed like he just wanted my number. Any normal civil manager would have expressed concern comped the drink and moved on. I just gave a random number. 10 mins later, he called my phone and I didn't answer. I called back maybe 10 mins later, to ask him what had happened. His response was "you gave me wrong number, i call your phone and it goes to voicemail." uh excuse me? as if im obligated to give u my real number? This isnt about my phone number crazy manager its about the bad drink your employee served me. This pathetic creep acted as if I was obligated to give him my actual number, and because I didn't he had a right to insult me, and refuse to replace the bad drink. He then claimed "im not giving you ANYthing." what? youre joking me right.....you serve bad coffee to a customer demand their phone number then harass them if they call you back....this isnt just bad customer service, this place needs to be reported to teh health department or something. He then proceeds to harass me on the phone for no reason....claiming hes not giving me anything and i gave him the wrong number....I expressed to him that he served a bad drink to a customer and he should do something about it. He proceeded to insult me b/c apparently he was just trying to get into a verbal fight for no reason because he is deranged or something. Who knows what they are serving in their coffee quoted as 'latte' and their crazy rude 'indian" manager is not only unapologetic but harassing customers who they've served bad drinks to.
Beware of dunkin donuts and even dealing with their crazy mean and rude uncivil management there- especially if it happens to be "indians" because they aare not only the stingiest people but they have no csutomer service abilities, rip people off to no end, and could care less about what they serve people and are a threat to people's health it seems. Also if you have a bad throat, don't go to this place to try to soothe it because you might be served bad coffee which will only make it worse, then get harassed by their foreign lack of social skills nasty management team there. Note to managers of DD's/BR's especially the foreign Indian idiots who lack all sorts of skill....get some help or an education you twits, just because you own franchises doesn't mean you have the right to treat customers like dirt, or abuse people....this is a regular habit of any person of indian descent who owns any franchise---extreme rudeness, no customer service or social skills, awful management, bad employees and bad service and its been witnessed in many different areas not just with this chain of restaurants.
