You also say you have your items delivered to confirmed address which is a store called MailMax.  You also said that your items that are missing are signed for by "MAX".  Do you by some outside chance notice any coincidences?  If you are having trouble I underlined a couple of the key terms for you.

By the way when you caught the UPS Driver "Red Handed" did you contact the police? 

As for switching to Amazon, what do you think they are going to do after you have a couple of claims?

..but how it this an Ebay or Paypal ripoff? Why should they cover that? Use insurance. Buyer protection is not insurance if someone steals the merchandise after the seller ships.. read the terms even though it should be common sense to know this is not what buyer protection is for. It is for if they never ship or you get it and it is not what is as described. And call the police too if you have proof the delivery people are stealing as one thing for sure ebay or paypal are not going to cover that and if they ever did it would be extremely surprising since they are not theft insurance for the delivery companies.

I guess I'm rather confused with this. So there's no doubt that the seller sent out your item and that USPS gave your package to this Max person. But is there an ebay policy that covers lost packages by USPS for the value of your purchase if the seller provides tracking info? It just seems that everyone did their part except USPS so I'm not sure why ebay would get the blame.

I am 63 y/o and HAVE everything my heart's desired.  Forbidden Planet robots and ray guns; Altec Lansing 12" and 15" coaxial speakers, tons of 4 channel "quad" stereo vintage components.  For ten years we have been buying at eBay with ZERO problems.  We don't use our home address because of the loose children /adolescents /and adults who have no jobs and do nothing but hang out all day long. Plus, every couple months the next door Section 8 merry-go-round evicts one set of trash and rents to another set of trash.  My house is a custom home. As is my neighbor to the East.

I did NOT know I was moving into the 2nd worst High Desert Calif. town. Adelanto is #1, Hesperia is #2.  Our certified eBay address AND certified PayPal address is the MailMax south/east corner of 11th and Main 5 blocks from our house. We've got $2,000 generators, tires, huge speakers, boxes and boxes and packages and packages. BUT it's just been the last 7 or 8 months where stuff just DISAPPEARS / never shows up!

If I was going to steal from myself it would have been the Altec Lansing 15" coaxial/super duplex speakers that cost $1,300 bucks; NOT a box with women's nylons in it!  A lousy $66 bucks and eBay says, "NO WAY."  This is U.S.P.S. so I told the sellers to send 'signature requested' so SOMEBODY has to take responsibility for receiving the pkg.

P.S. We CAUGHT the U.P.S. driver RED HANDED stealing: A) My Chase credit card never arried via UPS. Signed by "MAX" (There is no Max). Then the box of nylons disappeared UPS Also signed by "MAX". Now, two months later, UPS CLAIMS that we RECEIVED the package!? Oh, how fascinating. WHO signed for it? "MAX".  I have NEVER been so disgusted in my life.

We bid on item; we win bid; we pay via PAYPAL.  The seller gets paid, the seller packs item up, the seller sends item. AND the delivery man (UPS, USPS whatever) just takes it!  GREAT. One last comment: Wifey & I refinanced the house--a 2nd T.D. for $45,000 bucks.  The company sent a certified check. We DIDN'T get it !! Oak Street Mortgage made us wait 10 days and then put a stop payment on it and sent another check. We DID receive it.

About 3 weeks later, I was standing in front of my car, when I saw something lying in my fenced yard.  IT WAS the $45,000 check that DHL just TOSSED into the yard--hoping somebody would find it and pick it up. I'm telling you "Mother Hesperia" is raising dumb and dumber, drunk and drunker and crooked and crooked-er young people.  The DHS guy just tossed a check for $45K into the yard?

FINALLY, Uncle Ike worked USPS federal security; The folks at USPS would remember what size package the watch(es) come in. They rip open the box, shove the watch up their arm and toss the box.  IKE caught this one dude with 4 watches up one arm and 5 watches up the other. Do YOU SEE all the trouble this kind of B.S. causes?? Yep, Dan's STEALING his own stuff.  Never happened.

And finally: The Daily Press (LOCAL) newspaper, showed two fat men each with a bag of mail in each hand = 4 BAGS OF MAIL.  They we just walking out of the back of the USPS !!! What the hell has happened to security?? They were caught--but HOW MANY TIMES had they done this before it was stopped?? Sincerely, Captain Dan

I don't think ebay or paypal is going to cover all your bad decisions forever. Seems they let you slide with 2 which is 2 more then I would have.

And I have not filed a claim yet (knock on wood).  I think three claims are excessive and suspicious.  You say both USPS and UPS is ripping you off?  Maybe you should look at your neighbors.  Are you at home during the days?  Did you complain to USPS and UPS?
