Eagle Van Lines money extortion Watertown Massachusetts

My daughter was moving and this company after evaluation of the moving items they gave a price of $2882 on which we agreed. When the movers appeared on 8/8/2014 to pack and move. The packers loaded packed items into the van and left. When my daughter called the moving company for delivery date, she was told that the price has changed and increased by $979. She asked why such big difference, she was told she must either pay or her stuff would not be delivered or unloaded. Whe the movers appeared at the destination they requested payment first and then they will unload. Which to me is straight money extortion. The $979 increased makes me suspicious on the system they use trying to make you agree on their services. I would understand $100 - $200 difference, but not $979. The most important is their ability to extort money with impunity. There should be consequences.
