Another example of a company hiring really smart and arogant consultants and them making them a CISO of the entire company. Security Manager relies heavily on his personal opinions and makes every minor issue into a major incident. The Risk Officer seems oblivious to complaints about these individuals and doesn't do anything but support them. Security has mastered putting things off to make other teams appear at fault while they maintain a "My way or Highway" attitude. They are only concerned with making themselves look important.
Extened lunches, vendor visits and freebees with frequent visits to the gun range to "blow off steam" during business hours. How does a team run like that?
Security professionals seeking positions here - Be warned- a good old boy network exists here. Skills and certifications they don't, don't bother trying to use them because it will simply be a waste of time and career suffering. Experience you have won't get recognized and are better off looking for a job someplace else.
