How the Managing Member of EARTH LIMOUSINES, LLC LOU CASTRO rips off the drivers 

When I was interviewed by Mr. Lou Castro I noticed that he did not mentioned two simple things: what is the quota means to a driver and how a driver split the cash between the driver and him. But he mentioned the quota is 3 rides a day. The very first day I was able to do 3 rides conducted to me from the office and managed to pick up 5 cash rides. Nowadays the cash rides from Polo Towers are 2.5 times cheaper than they used to be. So, the 5 rides came up to $80 USD if you consider 20% paid to the door of the hotel. So, I dropped 3 office rides to the company and kept the $80 for myself since I met the quota. Next day one of the EARTH LIMOUSINES, LLC employees under name Ron Rusmundsen  calls me to the office for a talk. He explains me that the 3 rides quota is for the cash rides only if the ride is $49 dollars. The 3 office rides consider to be 1.5 rides only. He made me to sign an agreement to deduct $75 from my paycheck and sign a warning as well. I asked why he made me to sign a warning if Lou Castro did not explained me anything at the beginning. Ron Rusmundsen said not to worry and just drop him something even I did not make a quota in cash rides. Later I found out that I could not legally put cash ride on the trip sheet if it lower than $49 dollars. So, if the ride lower than $49 the drivers still had to drop 60% cash off the record. That is why Mr. Lou Castro did not want to discuss the drivers the drops of the cash. And, that is why he hired the middle man Ron Rusmundsen to tell the drivers to drop him something even from $20 ride. From this point it is not hard to figure out that Mr. Lou Castro wants to get cash in his pocket off the tax record as he used to have driving a limo himself! Now, the cash comes from the tips of the drivers! But how he gets away with it? That is right once again he hired a very good payroll girl under name Taska. She corrects the trip sheets for him to meet the Fed requirements!

 This company engaged in business with internet booking services like ground link groundlink.com, carmellimo.com which overcharge the customers 3 time over the regular rate if the customer books through company directly. Since it happens quite rarely, the most of the business comes from those rip off internet services. In another hand the driver get for his service only small portion of what the customers pay to the middleman. The ridiculous rate for SUV ride from McCarran Airport is only $38 out of which the diver gets only $9. This amount does not cover the time the driver spends to find the customer at the airport.  And, sometimes I was able to get printout with the rates they actually provided to the customers and saw the ride cost almost $90 to the customers!  Not to mention the poor business practices of the middleman companies like Ground Link. The groundlink.com set up their service in Bosnia and the company employees sometimes disturb driver in a middle of the night when he is asleep. Hiring people in poor European country let the company save money I guess. But, employees should at least better speak English to perform that kind of jobs.
