Easton Chemical Supply Inc - Wayne Rogers Easton sends out cleaning products which were NOT ordered and then bills for them Baltimore Maryland

Wayne Rogers at Easton Chemical called and spoke to a manager and asked them questions about cleaning products and whether the manager was the person who decided on which products were used at the business.  Manager confirmed that they were the decision maker but did NOT order any product, nor did they authorize the caller to send anything at all to the business.  A few weeks later a box was shipped to the center and was "received" by the material person, who opened it to see what it contained. Shortly after the product arrived the invoice arrived for almost $500, with a date of 2/11/13.  It was noted that it was not a regular vendor and no purchase order was used.  The manager immediately called Easton Chemical who refused to pay for the return of the product.  Mr. Rogers from Easton said the product was ordered by the manager on 2/5/13 and it was after the 14 day return policy.  The product was not delivered until 2/19/13.  The product (which was NEVER ordered) was delivered on the 14th day after Mr. Rogers said he spoke to the manager.  The company then began aggressive collection efforts, threatening collection agencies.  Wayne Rogers was the rudest representative that I have ever encountered in 40 years of business.  If Easton promotes these sales tactics and behavior I would never consider them even if I did need products from their company.

(I should add that after 5 months we finally returned the products at our own expense, even though the company said it was beyond the return date)
