Eco Energy of NY Damaged Roof, Incomplete Work, No Response Buffalo New York

Back in 2011 Eco Energy came in to our home to help us lower our fuel bill.  We came across them through a referral to Engery Efficiency Specialists who contracted with Eco Engery to audit our home for engery loss.

During the negotiating process with them I specifically asked about attic ventilation.  They assured me they would not interfere with attic ventilation and if anything, that would all be improved.

This last summer our roof started leaking and we called several companies for estimates. One of the companies actually went in to our attic to look around.  He came down and asked about the blown-in foam insullation (which was performed by Eco Energy.  He said it has blocked all ventilation and that is causing the wood that supports the roof to rot because there is no way for the air and moisture to escape because the edge vents have been blocked by the foam.

We have also been informed that removing the foam will add additional costs (in addition to the damage) because the foam will have to be removed.

I have asked for them to either refund my money or share in the cost of replacing/repairing my roof.
