I purchased various ECOsmarte products in an attempt to become an ECOsmarte dealer, based upon ECOsmarte's claims. When I received the products, I had all sorts of problems. Some of them would not work at all, and other's didn't work as advertised.
When I attempted to get a refund, I was told that there were no refunds, only credit for other products, plus I would be charged a "restocking fee".
ECOsmarte claimed that I was the problem and that the controllers worked fine.
I filed a "Merchant Dispute" with my credit card company in an attempt to get my money back and the credit card company instructed me to return the products to ECOsmarte, and I did. They subsequently denied my claim and now ECOsmarte has my money and the products. Now Larry Couture (ECOsmarte's president) is playing games and not returning the products to me, which I intended to sell on eBay, or to anyone that would buy them.
I have since spoken with numerous ECOsmarte dealers and the vast majority of them are disgusted with ECOsmarte, and Larry Couture.
I was also told by a former ECOsmarte dealer that Larry bragged to him about being banned from certain casinos because of his gambling debt.
I was told by another ECOsmarte dealer that he is in the process of suing ECOsmarte because he purchased a large quantity of ECOsmarte products as Larry Couture required, to acquire what he was told was an exclusive ECOsmarte distributorship. After Larry cashed his check, Larry told him they never told him he would have an exclusive distributorship, even though it's in writing.
None of the people employed by ECOsmarte can be trusted. They regularly lie to cover up deficiencies in their product.
