on Thursday 11/21/2013, I tried to order a set of Gaming Headsets advertised at 149.99 on ECost.  after serveral attempts an the order not completing at the credit card stage I chatted with a cust service rep.  He gave me his number and said to call and he would take the order over the phone.  to which I did.  He said oh you are not listed on an account with us, for which I replied yes yes I am.  He replied but that is for an online only account, and he needed to create a new account for over the hone orders.

Ok what ever... i said.  Told him my info and the item I wished to order.  after a few moments he said ok the order has been placed but it will be coming from a different warehouse.  but I should recieve the order by Monday 11/26/2013.  I said that would be fine.  He quoted my price several times as 149.99 plus the $16.00 shipping fee, for a total of $165.99 ....  On Saturday 11/23/2013 I received an email that I didn't read until later in the evening, that was my receipt of the sale.  The prices had changed to 248.99 plus $16.00 shipping.

NOT the price orderedat.  In fact $100.00 more than the original price advertised.  I caled the next day, and was told by the same sales agent that because it was fullfilled by MacMall and not ECost that they don't have the same prices.  I then found out that the sales agent was a MacMall sales agent. An Affiliate of ECost known for dirty practices.  I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they are only available during standard business hours.

I called back Monday after refusing the item delivered by FEDEX.  Affter reaching a so called supervisor, I was told that that was a sale price that had ended on 11/15/2013 and it was sold at regular the price.  I argued with her and told her that it was the price advertised and she said that it was imposible for me to get it at that price.  I told her to refund my money and I would NEVER buy from them again. She said it would be 7 - 10 business days for me to get a credit.

I told her she needed to get this credited way before that or I would seek legal council, and a claim for a charge back to my credit card.  She confirmed that Fedex had already processed the return and that I needed to wait until the item was returned for me to get credit. At this point I told her to credit my account immediately hung up and called my bank.  Which was equally as bad about the whole issue.  So Now I do not have the item nor the cash...  and am bound and determined to launch a slam compaign against ECost, MacMall and any other affiliates...
