Enough is enough! was hired to do multiple trades on an insurance job. when we started insurance had already  approved around 10,000 for jason and keelia curtis for home repairs due to storm damage. after reviewing insurance paperwork and then doing an inspection we filed additional supplements for other work needed to be done to correct additional damage to their home.

job started in december of 2013. From that date forward to march of 2014, we were able to get over 60,000.00 approved from insurance for work done to correct storm damage. During this entire 4 months, we dealt with such delays as weather (snow and ice) christmas decorations keeping us from having access to certain areas of home, and the most important delay dealing with insurance inspections of work performed (in order to get paid)and work to be approved for additional repair which required more supplements and inspections from adjustor.

So, having installed a totally custom prestained cedar fence, removing and replacing a concrete retaining wall that at the time of removing was only a footer with 6" exposure...went back with 2' deep footer and up to 3 and a 1/2 feet tall 10" wide retaining wall wih a brick look to it after scoring the 160' long wall and then staining it 4 coats, replacing 3 zones in sprinkler system, back filling 20,000 pounds of dirt, removing and replacing over 300 feet of fascia, removing and replacing skip sheathing with proper decking, upgraded to radiant barrier decking 5000 sq ft, replacing all cam lights, installing drains through concrete wall, sanding and mudding 4 skylight shafts, painting, having entire alarm system rewired due to not passing inspection and quite a few other smaller jobs in between...

The entire time of doing this work we are dealing with insurance company on jason and keelia curtis behalf, getting the insurance to come inspect work performed and completed and a check would be cut to jason and keelia, then we would get the check froom them personally for work done. As we completed work we got paid for it. AFTER being inspected by adjustor. another delay that occurred happened when jason didnt believe wall was installed right with good concrete. so we stopped job for 2 weeks while waiting for lab results of core sample that was sent in of wall in which the integrity of the wall came back twice as sttrong as paid for( paid for 3600 psi, got 5800-6200 psi installed.)

Anyways, the roof was the last thing we got to, and after doing the entire re decking and tiger paw felt install we learned from a comment of keelia curtis that there wasnt any money left. I went directly to insurance adjustor Dustin bowlin and asked about this and was informed Jason and keelia were given 10 percent overhead and 10 percent profit every check insurance was cutting for all jobs being completed.

the overhead and profit plus recoverable depreciation goes to contractor at the end of the entire job. all monies approved by insurance for work done or to be done goes to contractor.

So, after learning this was in fact what was going on  and jason and keelia were spending the 17000 owed to us (he bought a new van for his company) we stopped job right then. Only leaving installation of roofing shingles not done.

He had the nerve to ask our ac guy to verify that his ac was broke so he could get more money from insurance to replace it. My ac guy inspected it and found nothing wrong other than it looked like someone leaked out the freon intentionally. this guy s company is an air conditioning company.  We were burned for 17000.00 dollars by this insurance fraud committing couple. So remember people....wolf in sheeps clothing. Oh yeah, we even had our attorney contact he and his wife to do a christain mediation at their church...THEY REFUSED! sHADY PEOPLE COME IN ALL SHAPES AND SIZES, COLORS AND CREEDS...
