I cancelled my auto renewal twice, and because eharmony kept sending me emails, they won't give me a refund.  The only way that you can get them to stop charging you is to put a fake or old credit card number and try to close your account.  

They are a complete ripoff, I wish that someone would file a class action lawsuit against them for the billing fraud.

I think you did not cancel the auto renew and so that is why you were charged.  Read the terms and conditions please.
