My family was looking for a house to rent because my father in law needs to live with us and we needed a bigger house. I found an ad on craigslist and responded. This is the correspondance.

I personally own the house, I'm currently transfer to Baltimore,MD for a Missionary work with my Family, I need a good tenant to take good care of my house while I'm here in Maryland doing the work of God. there are rules and regulation i give out to tenant willing to rent my house, please don't disrespect my order, if you are capable of renting my house the rules and regulation goes this way............You must keep my house clean including the surrounding, you must not disturb the neighbor. l decide to rent out the property due to our transfer to Maryland for a Missionary Work, formally my House was for sale, but my family advise me not to sale it anymore so i decide to rent it through Real estate but the Realtor are not serious as they have a lot of house to lease, and the Realtor added some money to rent my house which is not flexible for people to rent, when l found out i cut off the deal with them. have this in mind you must know the kind of person i am, I'm giving you this rules because of what corresponded between me and my last tenant. you can drive by the house anytime to take a look at the area and surrounding For now we are looking for 2 to 3 years lease or rather lets us know how long you wish to stay.let me know if you are still interested to enable me forward the Rental Questionnaire for you to fill out...

I made the house cheap and inexpensive Because I'm not interested in the money as a child of God, l believe everybody deserves a home both the Rich and the poor. i want is a clean and responsible tenant that will move in and take good care of the house in my Absent. the rent include-Washer, Dryer, Trash, Dishwasher, Dryer,Refrigerator,internet, Electricity,Gas. We plan to stay here for 3 years or more, and I might decide to move back to my new renovated home in MI upon my arrival.

Through a computer security friend we have, he showed us steps to find out if this was an actual legitimate listing. Through our search we found this website with a complaint that is word for word the email we got. Luckily we did not send our personal information or family pictures. Although we were disgusted with the turn out of this situation, we were at least happy we did not give out our personal info. Everyone please beware. If it sounds good to be true, it probably is.
