WARNING for my AMERICAN, UK, German, French, Taiwanese, Chinese and Australian Male and Female Friends !!!! This is closely related to Russian-Roulette.

This can be one of the most time-consuming and expensive efforts of your life!

Put this Eastern Europe search for love activity in the category of gambling. This is closely related to Russian-Roulette.

The problem is not directly attributable to any mail-order-bride web-site on the internet, but with the nature of meeting a person who resides in a country where there is literally no functioning legal system. The brokers (web-intro site) have no accountability for any of the actions of the subscribers on either side of the web-introduction bridge. But the web-sites know the chances are stacked in favor of the house.

The problem is that deception and dishonesty are a way of life in Eastern Europe. When the judge and the police and banker can be bribed, there is no security in anything. This is the reason that those countries have the problems that they have, the majority of people there are immoral and unethical. They are forced to be that way to survive. However, it is part of their thinking, it becomes, it is a part of their nature.

If you talk to a psychopath, the psychopath will tell you that you are crazy, not him/her. The sociopathic personality (really, mind-set) can't understand their criminality, it is part of their thinking to commit the act of dishonesty or to steal and they have no remorse or guilt. This is what you are dealing with. The whole community has this juvenile and dishonest mind-set. This is what makes foreign relations so difficult. They don't think the way a reasonable person ought to think.

I'm going to admit this embarrassing fact to you in the hopes that I can educate and enlighten the few fortunate people who read this report; I have been searching on Elena's Models for 2 years. Not one successful relationship.

I see women's profiles who have been looking for 2 years, the same ones and they too haven't met anyone... or amybe it is their job. I don't know what they're searching for ... I have never been drunk, never did any drugs, was a college athlete, no criminal record, nor anything else that you may be wondering about, not short, not bald, not ugly, and I have two college degrees and a successful career.

I have a theory about what is happening with this web-site. I could be wrong, but my experience suggests something is either wrong with me , or there is something wrong with the women who subscribe , or there is something being done by the web-site management that will prevent one from accessing the real subscribers until you subscribe to the platinum level (the real people you can access are out-of-town, or not-available-now) Perhaps you will not get a real person looking for a companion until you pay a lot of money.

However, beware even if you do meet a potential love interest.
Your investment can cost you $3000 in airline tickets, $500 to $1000 in meals and taxi fares, $500 or $800 in hotel costs, and it can get you nothing but bewilderment and heart-break when you've typed all your inner hopes to a naive and unrealistic stranger who laughs at your silly ideas while planning how to get to a country that doesn't have a basis of lying and cheating as a way of life. And all that money is only for the opportunity to meet this possible match.

That is only the beginning of your costs. The K-1 visa fee is now $1080. The USCIS is in business too. The rules are confusing and the obligations for a visa are three years of paying for her expenses, everything, even legal aid to divorce you. They get free legal help because automatically, they qualify as below poverty. they can't get a job. There are lawyers that seek to help the immigrants , even if they got to the USA by deception. The obligations if you sponsor a permanent resident are so extreme and outrageous that it amounts to our government exploiting its own citizens. The people who wrote and established that 10-year commitment of the i-486 are evil and stupid. Anyone who does the i-486 form is crazy; and I really mean that. You would have to be so desperate that you've lost any ability to think about the seriousness of that commitment.

Many of the women in Eastern Europe have heard many , many rumors of the wealthy and kind American/Western men who swept the neighbor away to wonderful, Rich America/Europe. They want that fantasy and they will say and do whatever is required to attain the illusion.

When I went to Kyiv, the translator that I employed had several stories of the women spending thousands of the visiting Americans money. Myself, it cost me $1500 the first week i was there and then she abandoned me because I wasn't going to marry her after the first three days we met. Honestly.

They have no concept nor any appreciation for the risk and the generosity of what you are doing for them by bringing them away from the complete insecurity of their homeland. In fact, I believe that they resent that you have the power to save them and they disrespect the USA and believe that we don't deserve what our parents and grandparents built here.

The USA has exported the worst of our culture and the Eastern Europeans believe it. Too many American situation comedy television programs have been viewed by the youth there who are now 25 to 45 years of age.

The United States Department of Citizenship and Immigration Services in each City in Each State has 3 cases each week of the immigrant who was brought into the USA abandoning their spouse after the permanent resident status (green card) is attained. That means that the sponsoring USA citizen has all the risk and all the liability even after the immigrant spouse leaves him/her. That's roughly 1,500 cases each week in the USA.

The women or men from a third-world country have no idea how much effort is being made by the American and how much emotional energy is expended. If you establish contact with one, when she decides that you aren't wealthy enough or naive enough to continue to keep you on the hook, you won't even receive a Dear John letter to tell you that she has decided to discontinue the e-mail relationship. This of course is after several weeks of writing to her and waiting for her internet service to stop timing-out due to the ISP over-subscribing (Remember the AOL bad-faith class-action suit in c.1995- 1996? In Easter Europe, organized crime operates the services or some business group of hackers that have no accountability)

The women and the men from these third-world countries are seeking financial affluence. They want a millionaire.... not a commitment, devotion and trust.

They will not gain the same economic prosperity as the USA and UK/Spain/Western Europe for another 25 years because the governments are so corruot and everyone their is either drunk or a methanphetamine addict. As of 2006, the Ukraine is ranked number 1 in the world for meth addiction and 20% of adults are alcoholics too intoxicated to work.

And after one makes all the effort and invests the time and emotional energy, the money is almost secondary, the woman doesn't appreciate any of it. The ingratitude will amaze you.

The testimonials on the web-site have to be the 5% of the success stories...the other 95% have nothing to show for the money and especially the time.

The time and energy that you expend to try to even meet a woman from half-way around the world is substantial. The visa process alone is a 4 month process at minimum and can be as long as 6 months or more of waiting.

The cultural divide is huge and trust me when I tell you this...They have everything to gain by coming to the United States. The message that they are seeking true love and marriage is extremely suspect. I am happy to send you photos of the conditions of squalor in the Cities in many parts of East Europe.

The other aspect of this introduction servoce is that you will experience a severe communication gap.

Elena does not educate the women who subscribe to the service. The women have a flood of earnest men seeking to find a woman that will realy care aout them and not only see them for the ir wallet.

The screening process in a place like Ukraine would be almost none existent. I was there and I know who is doing the work.

The Eastern European Cities are full of corruption. The government employees are corrupt and all activity there involves a bribe of some type. They call it a fee. you describe the fees here in America to a Ukrainian , they will laugh and say, "you mean a bribe." Corruption and dishonesty of the women you will contact is the problem. My experience with the people in Ukraine is that they are reactionary and the cultural bias and disrespect for the United States is hidden by smiles and manipulations to find a way to separate any American from his money.

I personally know of an elderly couple from Eastern Europe who bribed a bank teller to generate false documents of their account balance so as to demonstrate assets on their homeland to get a visa into the USA. The culture and society there is built on the notion that if you can lie and the other person believes you , well , then it is the believers error.

From my experience, the women who subscribe to this web-site are of one of three varieties...

1) Women with childish and unrealistic expectations of the new mail-order husband or,

2) The women who have no idea of how much effort will be required to secure their visa and other documentation that will obligate the man to pay for any and all their financial and medical expenses for ten years, even if the couple gets divorced. See USCIS form I-486.

3) They do know and you better have a good prenuptial agreement

As a last thought:

How many of the marriages last more than 3 years? How many last 6 years? What happens after they arrive in the West? Is the husband still the knight-in-shining-armor after she has control of the bank account and can take the house from him through the divorce? Or does she become the distant and self-seeking career-woman who despises the slothful and decadent American who is too stupid to know what really happened?

Honesty is the root of a prosperous nation... Think about it. ENRON, FEMA, CHEVRON, This weeks most recent political or administrative act of deception and self-service. If you hate it in America, you ain't seen nothin' 'til you been over there; MOLDOVA (the character in the video game 'Grand Theft Auto 4' is from Moldova for a reason), Ukraine, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Russian Federation, and the Czhec Republic are rampant with deceptive activities. Unenforced law. That is why their economies can't function. That is why the wealthy in those countries are getting wealthier. We now have a threat of this same insidious cancer in our government and politically well-connected industry and finance. Fight it.

This is the Truth, are you for real?

AUTHOR: Spence - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, August 27, 2016

I certainly won't speak for anyone else but I'm black (African-American) and I met my wife on this site in 2005. We've been married 10 years in November.

Yes the majority of the women on the site are going to be caucasian because the started out in Eastern Europe. Just as KissesofAfrica is primarily going to have black women. I never dealt with discrimination on Elena's site. If a woman wasn't interested, she would simply respond to my expression of interest with a "no." I know I'm not the only black guy to find someone on the site because atleast one other guy sent in pictures of his wife that he met on the site.

There was a half-Nigerian, half-French woman that I was talking to, she was in Paris but used Elena's site for some reason.

According to my wife, there were steps that she had to take to prove that she was the one that actually put up the ad on the site to eliminate people who were using random girls' pictures to scam. She had to physically show up to one of the offices for pictures and had to talk to someone on the phone to confirm that she put up the ad.

Here's the reality of talking to someone from Elena's site or any similar site:

1) You are always going to find people who are looking to scam, irrespective of what site you use.

2) If you're not caucasian, you are going to run into the possibilty that some women don't date outside their race.

3) In the US, the process of getting a fiancee visa takes about 18 months to get an approval. Once approved the visa lasts for six months. When she (or he) lands in the US, you have 90 days to get married.

4) It costs a great deal of money so budget for it. The US requires you to visit each other in person at least once and requires you to show that you have an established relationships (e.g. e-mails, letters, gifts, etc). You also have to send in 12 pictures of the two of your stading in the picture together.

It's not an easy process but at no point did I ever get the feeling that Elena's website promoted racism or discriminiation. Most of these women are looking at guys in the US, Australia or Western Europe. They simply aren't looking for guys in Trinidad and Tobago. I don't mean that to talk down to you or your country. My point is either they don't know much about the country or just don't want to take the chance to go there.

You All Won't Talk About Her Wicked Practices

AUTHOR: This Is The Truth - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 01, 2011

Here is what we learn about all these commentators

1.  They are all racist discriminators just like Elena Petrova is

2.  They are all those who most likely belong to the same ethnic grouping like Elena Petrova is

3.  They are all worshippers of Elena Petrova as their god

However they will not talk about her discrimination practices and prejudicial patterns that are part of the system dynamics on her site.  Those who see her as their god believe she is all good and this is not the case at all

If she is your god then feel free to cry out to her and let her answer your prayers when you need help!

But... Fear Not!

....This wicked woman will have her day to be judged when the Real God shows up and so will you her supporters as well...For He will not allow your wickedness as well to prevail!

These Rebuttals need some Reality but are all from Retards

AUTHOR: TheRealTruthTeller - (Trinidad and Tobago)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 01, 2011

Here's the deal-Imagine outsiders from Australia are actually speaking to an Australian who should know his own country better than those retards who outside his country that are actually lecturing him

Anyone who says they are sorry about the bad happened that happened to them on this site is absolutely LYING.  They are not because they are simply one-sided and those with the so-called "positive" only look down at one side of the coin

Let's look at the discrimination practices of Elena Petrova-Why are many profiles one-ethnic based.  Others will say well you know that's how the women think over there-Ridiculous!  Why would they say that because have prejudice and ethnic backwardness in them themselves!

The site only caters for one race in majority per its profile arrangement and if that isnt a case for discrimination I do  not know what is.  Other sites do not have this labelling on such profiles and if it is one can see it in the minority and not in the majority like on Elena Petrova's site!  Plus there is no advertising of other races on the site-None.  Plus testimonials are scarce of mixed race couples.  Why because the site does not cater to other races!

Why don't these idiotic endorsers talk about this-because they are part of the same system of discrimination themselves and will never see equality and fairness as an issue!

Just remember endorsers the wrongs Elena Petrova has done can never be covered over by the "right" things you have seen with her on her site especially against other races.  Plus last time I checked your comments were not at the top of the search engine of this site and you have failed to even in all your attempts to see her removal from this wonderful complaints forum that has blacklisted her permanently here for all the world to see

Well done commentator of the negative with Elena Petrova!  Well done!

Listent to Dino...

AUTHOR: Spence - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 06, 2011

Although, I've had a wonderful experience with Elena's Models, Dino is right that some women out there will only use guys to get out of the country. My wife (who I met on the site) lived outside of Ukraine on three different occasions (Austria, German and Norway) before coming to The States. I intentionally chose a woman who knew English and lived abroad because it gave me a better sense of her intentions. In other words, if she truly wanted to stay abroad, she had three opportunities to do so, not to mention that we met when she was in Norway, not her home country so we were on neutral ground and she had an entire year to decide whether or not she wanted to stay in the country another year or permanently.

Also, make sure that you ask the woman about how she feels about belonging to a Russian or Ukrainian (or whatever is her ethnicity) group outside of her home country. My wife likes to get together and speak Russian and Ukrainian with other speakers but that's as far as the friendship goes. She doesn't want to hang out with them because as she states, "there are certain people (from Eastern Europe) who go abroad and many of them do not have good intentions." That's not to say they are criminals or up to no good but she has decided to err on the side of caution.

Guys take your time, ask lots of questions and if you don't trust the girl 100% then it's not worth it.  When you marry someone and sponsor their visa, you are indebted to them for 10 years (according to the government) unless they remarry. That means that you pay their expenses out of your pocket (it was $12,000/yr a few years ago) if you divorce because the government won't give them assistance. It is a huge step so make sure that you perform due diligence without letting your emotions get in the way.

Golddiggers in every culture, do your homework!

AUTHOR: Dino - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 05, 2011

I feel for the author of this letter, I do.  But it is not the fault of Elena's Models.
I used the site for 3 years.  I met two wonderful women. One in Moscow I date for a year, and the second is my wife of 4 years.  I will say this.  In the LA area, my wife has reached out to meet other Russian ladies and most of them ARE gold-diggers who admit they only married for the green card! The only Russian lady my wife met in LA who was honest, met her husband on Elena's Models.

You have to ask a lot of questions, you have to really understand the language and culture.  For me, I had the added bonus of being an Orthodox Christian and I wanted an Orthodox wife. So, I made religion and church going a priority.  Most ladies I wrote to were honest if they weren't church going.  When they admitted they weren't, all of them said it wouldn't work for them if that was important for me, honorable and conversation ended, amicably.

My experience with the Ukrainian women was horrific.  I found  three in  a row to be gold diggers and quickly ended the dating.  I met all of them in USA, though.

My wife even met a young Ukranian girl in LA.  She married a man 25 years older just to come to USA an went to night clubs each weekend to cheat on her husband and find another man.  Who is at fault here?  I don't know, but if you marry a girl who's 20 and you're 45, I would say your odds of long-term happiness are not good.

I hate to dismiss an entire country due to 4 bad experiences. But my track record in Russia was very good.  There is a permissiveness to lie and deceive. I found it to be worse in Ukraine than in Russia. It is sad, because I am sure there are honest and good ladies in Ukraine.  Unfortunately, it seems they are much harder to find than in Russia.

I have used the Elena's Model's site for 3 years.  Thrilled with the results.  Met a wonderful lady from Moscow.  Dated for a year.  It did not work out, so we parted as friends.  We still talk sometimes.  Second woman I met on the site has been my wife for 4 years.  Ex-runway model. Drop dead gorgeous!!

This man maybe did not understand how the letters work.  Just because a lady sees your profile and writes to you is not a guarantee she will like your response or perhaps like another man's response better.

Elena Petrova herself recommends that men write to at least 10 ladies, who are in turn writing to about 10 men each.  Then, as you ask the tough questions that you need to to see if this lady is really wife material for you, and as she sizes you up, you see 10 names drop to 5, then, usually 2 or 3.

I had narrowed down my search to 2 ladies.  I was actually thinking the lady in Siberia would be a better match, but when I wrote her about religion (I am very religious) and she said she was not, I chose the other lady I was writing to, the model, and she has turned out to be wonderful in every way!

Elena's Models is a great site!

AUTHOR: Spence - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, September 18, 2009

Sorry to hear that you've had a hard time with this site. I used Elena's site four years ago and I only used a fraction of my credits before I began corresponding with my future wife. Yes there are some scammers on there but you'll find scammers everywhere (Yahoo, Match.com). One has to remember that you are dealing with women from a very different culture when corresponding with someone from Eastern Europe and things that might be acceptable to speak of in the West are not acceptable in the East during courtship.

Additionally, if you sign up to  receive the newsletter from Elena or (I think) read the FAQ on Elena's site, it clearly states that you should be ready to spend between $10-$20k USD if you find someone. This cost is accurate due to traveling, hotels, entertainment, immigration lawyer (if you chose to use one) and immigration fees.

I cannot speak for everyone but I found Elena's site to be very useful and I married the woman that I found on the site. We've been together for  4 1/2 years and have been married for almost 3 years; she hasn't left me (and yes she has a green card and will apply for citizenship soon), nor is she a gold digger or uneducated (Masters degree and speaks five languages). I would totally do this again, and no I'm not an employee of Elena's. Additionally my wife was living and working in Norway at the time we were dating and Norway (in my opinion) has a more stable lifestyle and economic system than the US. If she really wanted to marry for money and guaranteed financial security...she would married and stayed in Norway. We are truly in love.

If you want to know more about my experience, feel free to e-mail me: shadowsoulband@hotmail.com

POSTED: Wednesday, January 14, 2009

I wanted to update that the visa interview I spoke about in the above rebuttal happened in September, 2008, my fiance got her visa and arrived in New York in October, and we were married in November, 2008.

Thank you Elena for everything you do. My life will always be better because of it.

a rebuttal to this post...

AUTHOR: Gerry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 09, 2008

Just a quick rebuttal to this obviously frustrated guy:

The K-1 visa that you speak of, costs $455 to file the papers with USCIS, not the $1080 that you claim. I know this because my fiance and I are 4 weeks away from her visa interview, and I have first-hand knowledge on the entire process. Also, my fiance and I also met through Elenasmodels.com - which is the company that you don't speak too highly of. I personally, can not speak HIGHLY ENOUGH of Elena Petrova and her service. My life has changed 100% for the better because of it, because I thank God every day for my beautiful fiance and cannot wait until I can see her again.

I gather from your very long-winded post, that you are upset because you have had to spend some money and that the women you have "met" don't seem to have any love interest in you. From reading you post, I don't blame them. Whether or not you look for love in a bar, at work, on the internet, or anywhere else, a certain amount of investment is required. Nothing in this life that is worth anything is free. You are correct, if you want to go the route of looking for a Russian or Ukrainian woman to have a relationship with (which I highly recommend, by the way - you won't view American women the same way afterwards, I promise!), it will cost you some money, because you must be prepared to fly to her home to visit her at least once. This is a requirement of the US Immigration Department, that if you file for a K-1 fiance visa, that you must have met at least once within the past 24 months. The whole process will cost you a minimum of about $6K, and more if you continue to go back to see her. So, you must understand that going in.

There isn't a country in the world (USA included) that is free from government corruptness. I have been to many of the countries you have listed, and while they certainly have their imperfections, there is also many great things about them. I personally find the people of Russia, Ukraine and Czech Republic to be very warm, friendly, accommodating people. But, to get there, you must give back just the same. From the negativity of your post, my guess is that this was far from the case on your part. Maybe that is why the girls don't flock to you. Just a perception on my part.
