This is my EMFURN review
I first purchased a Eames Lounge Chair from this company after reading some threads on Apartmenttherapy. I initially was hesitant as it seemed like spam and was coming from their employee. Anyways their price point was too attractive and along with free shipping really sealed the deal.
I pulled the trigger and got the chair from them in about 2 weeks.
The box was badly mangled when it came and the cardboard quality was quite bad already. I opened the box and to my surprise the chair was OKay!!
But another surprise came when it looked like I had to assemble the chair, it came with the tools and screws and I had to conenct the back to the seat and the base to the seat. Fitment was a problem right off the bat and it seemed like the holes didnt line up on the armest and I had to really force it to align.
While assembling I noticed the leather was peeling off in some places and first thought it was just dirt but as I peeled away it looked like to me the leather was fake!!
Before I could finish assembling I decided to call them and see what the return was sinec they guaranteed money back if i'm not satisfied.
I was astonished to find they were going to bill me for 30% restocking fee and I would have to ship it back to them at my cost and would not be refunded shipping.
I am writing this report to warn everyone that they indeed are a rip off and do not do business with them. Their are just too many companies flooding the market was low quality replicas.
Their are definitelky some reputable companies out there you just have to do your research! I have sinec found one.

To respond your other questions, our eames lounge replica chairs do not require any assembly. We offer 100% free shipping nationwide across North America (unlike certain competitors) and free returns/exchanges policy on defects. All furniture is assembled and properly inspected before shipment. If a customer were to order from us and later has buyer remorse, then a 30% restock fee + shipping applies. This is an industry standard.
We use 100% authentic top grain Italian leather and aniline leather. We can ship leather swatches for free to anyone who's interested.
We have orders coming in all the time and so far we've had no returns and we have never taken a single phone order. We always advise all our customers to complete their purchase online.
If there is any validitiy to your falsified accusations, please provide your order number.
It's amusing to see how much of an extent a competitor would take to debase us. It seems like our great prices and service has become a real threat to their business. ;)

I'm sorry but, how can you prove my order was from Apartment Therapy, I ordered over the phone. Everything I speak of are facts. Do you not charge 30% restocking fee? Do you not require assembly? Do you not refund shipping? Nice try trying to deflect this as fake.

Thank for taking the time to write a long fake review. We have never sold anything to anyone off of Apartment Therapy. We have records to prove it. If ever there's a customer issue, everything is resolved in-house - this is why you will never find a negative review of our company online. I was made aware of the negative review by one of our customers and frankly it's interesting that our competitor would view our company such a threat that they would attempt to defame us online.
To our future customers, please disregard the negative review above. Please contact us at Emfurn should you wish to view our records for proof. We have never sold an eames lounge chair to anyone off of apartment therapy. We keep track of all our customers and if there's ever an issue which seldomly occurs, we would advise you to contact us first.
