I worked with this company for a very short period along with 97% of their other employes that they quickly fire. Honestly I'd like to save anyone looking for a serious job from making the same mistake as I did and would also like to WARN any business owner from talking part with this company with their at best "SHADY" marketing strategies.
The fist thing you'll notice is that of the people in their sale staff, less then a couple have been with the company for longer then a month, most of which have been there weeks at best.The first day of my employment was what they considered "Training" Their training is all handled by Christina, a fake,ditsy unemotional and conniving individual . The training consists of role-playing from a poorly written, grammatically incorrect script compliments of Christina and illustrating how to target businesses to harass via YELP.com. If you get a call from this company you are just one of the 1000 people each representative is required to call in a daily basis to hold their job and keep food on their families table.
Your second day of employment, whether you have experience in phones sales or not will be making 65+ phone calls or you will be let go. A young lady was fired on her second day for taking longer then 5 minutes to call a business. This company is as money hungry and greedy as they come, if you can't produce instantaneously they'll kick you to the curb.
The company highly encourages sales rep at the steak of there job to put pressure on clients to start a marketing campaign with them in which is could easily be done in-house, as an individual business without EMPIRE MARKETING SOLUTIONS dreadful, overpriced third party service. For the businesses who are foolish enough to be one of the 1000 phone calls that fall for this companies BS , keep in mind you'll be having your credit card number along with the rest of your credentials hand written by a sales rep, that may have been with the company for less time then it takes to run a proper background check. When I stated here I specficaly asked if there was a quota that needed to be reached and I was told directly that there wasn't, when they let me go, one of the reasons they listed was that I didn't meet their 3 sales per week quota which every other rep besides someone they've had employeed from this hideous companies inception had failed to meet. POTENTIAL CLIENTS AND EMPLOYEES if you're someone who seeks a company that is professional, reliable, and secure I HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere because Ems is NOT that company.
