Opened mail to see Enhanced Recovery Company with a Settlement Opportunity! Stated AT&T has been assigned to them for collection efforts. The letter and docuement is very "offical" looking. Account numbers, Reference numbers, amount of debt ($86.50 for me) and Settlement Amount ($38.93) Also, states that amount owed will increase, it may be reported to the national credit bureaus. Has The Gall To SAY: "If you feel you are a victim of Theft of Identnity, please call AT&T at (866) 718-2011".

Solution: Called AT&T-  No way, all was good, made a report. Asked if they have and other complaints or issues. Fine, but now it is in my hands. Go to the local service office, make a copy.....etc.

How and Where did this company get this much personal info. Who else is affliated with them, beside a stamp of approval of BBB?
