I am having a difficult time trying to submit my grievance to the right associate at Enterprise it seems. Therefore, I wil post a copy of my note here in hopes that the right associate will forward this on. Also, I would like to know what others think about this policy. Is this a fair policy? Should our business character be judged or compromised due to someone else in our house hold? Does this really make sense? Should others be warned about this policy as well?

Anyway, here is the note or letter that I am trying to address for answers to Enterprise Car Rentals:

To: Enterprise (Corporate Office)

Rather than a question, I have a crucial comment to elaborate concerning your policies at Enterprise. On 8/30/13 at one of your Covington Pike locations in Memphis, TN., I was denied a car rental transaction due to my grown son who is 31, unfavorable business with your company.

I was told my address was 'black listed" and on your "dnr" list whereas no one at my address can ever rent a car through your company due to my son's track record with the company and fees. I was told my son owed fees and they even asked me to pay it. This is my son's debt not mine and I coudn't understand why I was requested to fill someone elses account.

I do dread my son wasn't more reliable and prompt to his contract agreement. However, I must state that my son is not a child.  Sure, he temporarily stays at my address due to the circumstance, but I feel in no way should his character reflect mine. I have done business with Enterprise periodically and have always faithfully and promptly fulfilled all contractual agreements. I was appalled to hear that I was no longer applicable for Enterprise services due to a house hold member.

I deem this policy as a very unfair, partial and discriminatory one in nature. I feel the actions of other adults should in no way render  others in a house hold as an unfavorable or declined customers.  What's your rationale behind declining good customers due to another household members' credibility?

If two adult individuals have separate credit cards whereas, one has an outstanding credential and the other one doesn't...then guess what? The company sees no bearings on penalizing other grownups in the same house hold for the deficiency of another grown up who in actuality is a separate entity.

I am also in the process of exposing this ordeal to other consumers through out the internet plane and word of mouth as to seek further opinions and a bit of closure pertaining to this said policy.

However, before I do so I would be interested in a response as to include with the report of my ordeal.

P.S., I received a beautiful rental car from (((competitor's name redacted))) in which my insurance company honors as well as Enterprise. So I was successful in a car rental as I thought I should be.

Seeking A Response,

Thank you.
