ENTERPRISE LEASING COMPANY OF FLORIDA LLC Obligated Me to Hold a Car and Pay for Rental During the Weekend Even Though I Only Rented it for One Day Pembroke Pines, Florida

My husband and I rented a car on April 15 at around 4:00 p.m. for one day only. 

We agreed to return the car by 2:00 p.m. on Saturday as stated in the copy of the receipt he got from Enterprise.  I arrived at the Enterprise agency at 1:30 p.m. to return the car and found the place closed.  

We tried contacting other branches to see if I could return the car in any of these offices, because frankly we cannot afford the rental for the whole week end which is over $200.00, but all those branches were closed as well.

Then we called the customer service number of Enterprise and found out I could not return anywhere and had to keep it until Monday.  I could not even return it to the main car rental of enterprise.  This means we have to keep the car for the entire weekend.

We see this as bad faith on the part of Enterprise rental agent who knew, that particular agency was going to be closed at 2:00 p.m. and failed to tell us and he even had the audacity of writing the date and time of the car return on the receipt. 

We feel we have been ripped off and abused.  We could not even afford the rental for one day, let alone for the entire weekend.  The only reason we rented the car was for my husband to be able to go to work.  Now, we are obligated to retain this car and pay for it.  What a way to do business at the expense of the needy.
