Called Enterprise Car Rental on July 19th about renting a car(any size) once a week(22 days) the rest of 2013, starting on July 23rd. July 22nd I had heard nothing and called to see why noone got back with me. A Jen called me back asking again what I needed.
I told here what I had told Amanda. I wanted a car 1 day a week the next 22 weeks then once a week every week in 2014. She said she would get back with me, and set me up for the next day to pick up car in Clearfield(Jen never got back to me to this day).
I got the car(on 23rd July), and noticed an hour later it had an expired tag. I called 800 # and talked to a guy for about 40 minutes. I returned the car by 8:30pm(picked up at 5:30) and dropped keys in box. I was told on phone a total refund would come. It did not, only deposit. Took a couple phone calls to get back my 46.00 and change. Took 4 weeks to get 18.00 I spent to fill tank.
I called to complain and was sent to Mr Nettles, Then to Mr. Hutterer, neither of which ever called me back. They sent my complaints to a Bill Zettlemoyer. Who did give me back the 46.00 for car I couldn't use cause of expired tag. I complained again about dirty cars and noone getting back about set price for all the renting I wanted to do for the next 1 and a half years.. He seemed, to me, to not really care about anything I was saying.
The next car I picked up had a cough flemball stuck and dried up on inside windshield. I had to stop and clean it myself 8 miles down the road. Next car had a 3 day old McDonalds reciept and x-mass tree air freshener laying on floorboard frontseat areas.
They all always told me for 4-5 weeks I would never be charged for 2 days if I picked up at 5:15 to 5:30 and got back an hour or 2 after they cloed at 5:30. I always made it back in time though. But after my complaints, I went to pick up car on Aug 7th and had 102.00 not 52.00. She said it was open ended ticket. They know its 1 day. I told them 15-20 times, just 1 day a week. So I think they are going to pull a fast 1 by hoping I bring back past 6pm and they charge me extra. She had contract made out for 4:40pm(which Mark threw in my face when I got back at 4:04 next day). I didn't get car till 5:15. Seems they were out to backstab me for my complaint calls!
I canceled my nexts week reservation and am now left with noway to rent cars in this area, as Enterprise is the only game in town. They know this and screwed me on purpose hoping I just went away. Well I will not go away!
