Bought a car, needed repairs had 15 days to bring it back. Tried repeatedly to make an appt .but of course couldn't get in till after the 15 days. The salesman said he put a new battery in and of course that wasn't done. When we finally got an appt. The sales man said he didn't put anything in writing and so he didn't have to honor it. He then got a manager and I informed him he was going toput the battery in and he did. They then informed my son that he had to pay his second down payment in 2 days that would have been 28 not the 6 weeks that we had agreed on. They also informed us that the plates weren't going to be in before the paper one expired. So here I am with my son who doen't understand how people can run a business with lies. $900.00 down $500.00 in six weeks. We didn't get a copy of our contract and It all adds up.
More money!!! We had a cosigner and he never received any paper work to sign. At my wits end I went to where I bought my nissan and said what can we do. He first looked up mitchell and the cosigner. Nothing no loan no contract. My nissan dealer made this a rewarding first car buy and my son will never forget it. We then took the other car back to equity and I explained to our sales man there what we were doing. A small man tried to run at my son saying you don't know who your dealing with. Now this small man was maybe 5 2 and my son 6 6 I got in front of the small man and said no your not going to mess with him I made my son get in his new nissan sentra and we left. I want my $900.00 back they have no loan no contract but they have my $900.00 dollars. I cannot believe the sales man making fun of what I said. They're is more Ican't think of it all. We paid cash and I have the receipt.

Well we went to court with Equity auto the supposedly owner Tony Delamora. Started with lies and ended that way. Equity Auto employees are loosers, ripoffs, scammers please be aware of these people. Of course we won. I am very happy with the outcome. Please read reviews before visiting this establishment. My son got his check from Equity on Tuesday. Case closed. Joleen. Phx Az.

I received this today. This is the finance company that sent the payment booklet with P.O. Box. Remember the car was 6,999.00 and the total finance was 15,800.00. I have so much more to do to get these scammers. I am so not afraid of these thieves.

Now Equity auto is taking hundreds straight from account

There isn't a loan. They have the car back with all its serious problems. They took $600.00 out of the account. Now they have commited a crime. This is stealing and its a felony. How can this business still be open? They rip people off everyday. I am so dissappointed. I really think they knew that they were going to do this when my son walked in the door.
There are so many things wrong with the car. Brakes and rooters, air conditioning, the battery, brake lights out, tires, window tinting all were to be fixed within the 15 day dealer warranty. My son received a payment booklet and with the total they are having him pay $15000.00. The payment booklet is more like they are holding the car for my son its not a contract. They want us to mail the payments to a P.O. box in California really no address just a P.O. Box. I'm so flipping upset this needs to stop. As Tony De La Mora says as hes charging at us you don't know who your messing with. If this isn't fraud or a scam I don't know what is.
I will do everything I can to get the money back from Equity for my son. Everyone needs to be aware of Equity auto center. They have one in tempe, on bell road and they opened one in tucson on Monday. They will rip you off. Get everything in writing and go down before the 15 day warranty, dont make an appt. they will keep changing it and tell you as long as you called before the 15 days they will honor it. It doesn't work that way. Tony De La Mora is the owner. Austin Martinez was the second car salesman and Scott was the first car salesman.
