WE had/have a leaky basement everydry called several times to offer a special rate in our area and free inspection. They sent someone to scare you to death and had us feeling like a bad parents letting your children live in a house with mold spores . Having a disabled child with chronic breathing problems made us a perfect target.They played all kinds of games like "serious " phone calls from the "owner" of the company to let us know how serious these mold spores are to our health.At first it would only cost us $27,000. to see a difference in our son`s health but we don`t even make that in a year with both of us working.So as we struggle with the thoughts of what bad parents we are if we do not fix it or move out of our home of 15 years , We look for ways to finance this life saving renovation. They did work with us as trying to help us get financed and even dropped their price almost in half to "help". Then they said it is a lifetime warranty. So we felt all good and warm and cared for ,appreciating everything they have done for our family. We noticed we still seen leaks and the walls were not repaired as they said they would be . The front yard has pipes sticking out which gushes water every couple minutes making it unsafe when it freezes.The water then recycles through a crack in the basement wall ( supposed to have been fixed) . We were assured that cosmetically there would be no difference and the pipes and patches along with a constant puddle in the front yard makes a pretty big eye sore. Did I mention big patches of yard had been tore out and not grown grass again.We were told that they offer an insurance at a small yearly fee on the pipes that they recommend we get in case a neighbor digs too far over or something.We called several times and left messages with no response about the leaks. Then after about 1 and 1/2 years when things are really starting to fall apart we call them .They say we didn`t pay your yearly "insurance " premium . I told him I did not feel this should fall under an insurance claim since it was not corrected as we agreed in the first contract .I let them know that we never recieved a bill and had no idea how to pay it .I offered to pay it right then stating there is no way we financed $16,000.00 and then not pay $68.00 .He proceeded to tell me to take that up with the post office not them . He said We are on your own and will have to pay to get our basement fixed  .They did not fix our basement leaks and left our front yard a waste water dumping ground .We paid them $16,000.00 to fix our basement 1 and 1/2 years ago and were told we had a lifetime warranty.
