Exceptional Car & Truck Sales Tim !!!WARNING !!! STAY AWAY !!! ATTEMPTED ASSAULT !!! VULGAR !!! RIP-OFF !!! THREATENED MY MOTHER !!! St. Petersburg Florida

I was looking for a scooter on craigslist when I found an ad from Exceptional Car & Truck Sales. I tried to call the number on the listing and kept getting the voice mail. I had then sent them an Email through Craigslist. I got a reply to call them back. I called and spoke with Jeremy on the phone, who seemed nice. I agreed to drive the thirty-five miles to look at the scooter the next day. I recieved a call from Tim the next morning asking me why my phone number was on his caller ID. I told him that I was interested in the scooter that was listed. He told me that I need to hurry up if I wanted it because he had multiple people coming to look at it. I had my mother take me to see the item.

Upon arriving, I saw the scooter out by the street. We had to squeeze through a very tight space just to get in the parking lot. I went over to the scooter and noticed that it had signs of severe wreckage on the right side of it and there was rust and pitting all over it. Tim came out of the trailer/office with what looked like a gun, but turned out to be a cordless screwdriver. He looked at my mother and I and asked "So are you buying it," "Let me get the keys." I told him that I was not interested in it due to the extensive damage that was not disclosed in the listing. He then became extremely irate and said to me "What do you expect to get at that price?" I replied by saying "I was expecting what was listed." He then said while posturing and waving the screwdriver around "Why don't you just buy something else then?"

I replied "I am not interested in anything else that you have, you are very unprofessional." He then started charging towards my mother and I and waving his arms around with the cordless screwdriver in his hand and screaming. I stepped in front of my mother to protect her from this man, who obviously wanted to assault us. I then very sternly told him to keep back. He stopped in his tracks and started threatening to assault me and started yelling sexually explicit profanities at my mother and I. I told him to stay where he was that we were leaving, and that is when some woman came out of the office/trailer and pushed a scooter behind my mothers car so that we could not leave. I told her to move the scooter out of our way unless you want to be charged with kidnapping. She did.

My mother and I were getting into the car and Tim just kept screaming profanities at my mother and I. I told him I am sorry, but I am no longer interested. I told him to have a nice day and that is when he threw the cordless screwdriver at us. Tim missed my mothers' brand new Honda by about six inches. He then started charging at our car as we were leaving, but luckily we were able to get out of there before he could damage our car. My mother had to pull over about two miles down the road because she was shaking and sobbing so badly that she could not drive. We then noticed a Sherrif's car parked outside of a CVS across the highway. She pulled her self together enough to make a U-turn and we flagged down the officer. We explained what had happened and the sherrif called it in. We gave our statement and got out of there as quickly as possible. This man obviously has severe problems and has no business running a business. If you are concerned for your own personal saftey, please avoid this place at all costs.
