Express Tire Dishonest Fraudulent Temecula California

I had my oil changed at Express Tire for less than $10.00 but to get this great price you had to join in their membership. Eric Waller (assistant manager)helped me out at the front desk and asked me what I needed. This is where it all started. I told Eric I needed an oil jchange on my car. He told me that the price of the oil change was less than $10.00 and proceeded to ask me if I was waiting or picking car up later. I was waiting. He asked me to fill out my contact information whihc oddly enough asked for my social security number. I pressed Eric on this issue to which he replied that the company needed this info for the file and that they could not do the job unless they had all my info. I said okay but only because my neighbor uses you. The information I just provided to Eric was a short form credit card application which I had not been informed of and was not given any paper material disclosing this info. To my complete surprise, two weeks later I have a credit card sitting in my mail box which I did not want, never requested and would never have applied for. None the less, this card now shows up on my credit report and the credit card company won't remove it. Regardless if I keep or close the card, my credit rating has now dropped. This is a concern since I'm in the process of buying a business. I'm under close scrutiny by all involved and can not open up any other accounts to qualify for this purchase. Tire Express doesn't care either. They told me to cancel the card. There's nothing they can do. This store in Temecula is a fraud and they are very dishonest misleading customers like myself into credit they don't want. No information is provided by Tire Express letting you know about the card. They don't tell you you're a credit card application and act as if you're simply giving them your contact info. Ralf Temecula, California
