To Whom It May Concern:

Initially this letter was to be complimentary to your establishment however, I find that I must address a letter of grievance instead. Upon my check in at your Extended Stay America located on 6240 Airpark Drive in Chattanooga Tennessee, the following problems arose I had requested that my three rooms be in succession to one another upon my arrival this was not the case. My room rates were had been changed from the original price quoted. I paid cash for one room 209 and the other two rooms 108 & 135 were charged on my credit card at check in. My check in at your hotel was Friday June 11, 2004 & check out was Wednesday June 16, 2004.

Then we had to be moved from our room because of faulty locks, and then the air-handling unit wasn't working properly. I found a charge on my credit card the sum of 66.10 had been charged twice to my credit card. I called your hotel in Chattanooga and spoke with a Tracy Taylor this individual wasn't able to help me with this matter. He explained that I had been given a different rate than what I should have had received. Then he proceeded to explain that because I had a room with two twin beds the rate was more expensive than the queen room. However at check in none of this information was ever explained. Anyhow I had requested queen size bed and recliner chair there wasn't a recliner in the rooms.

Please be aware that it is unlawful to access an individual's account without their permission of consent. Your establishment did just that, when the keys were returned to the front desk know one made mention of any additional charges to follow. Because of this I'm seeking reimbursement in the sum of $132.20 from your establishment or some sort of credit perhaps for a future stay. I have had legal council, and I believe I'm well within my rights to seek action. After all if I have checks returned to me for insufficient funds as a result of your charge to my account I would in-turn expect your company to make good on the overage charged to me.
