EZContacts.com is run out of a house in Brooklyn, NY (1153 55th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11219-4117) owned by Isaac Friedman. The principle of the so-called business is Joel Friedman and, as far as I can tell, the business is run by the Friedman family. I’ve read a number of other reviews and complaints of customers of EZContacts.com who have paid for their prescription glasses or contact lenses and who have never received their order or a refund. Unfortunately, I made the same mistake and placed an order on 1/23/2016 for prescription glasses in the amount of $466.86. The purchase was made with a healthcare flexible spending account debit card. To date and after many inquiries, the Friedmans failed to deliver the glasses and have refused to provide me with a refund. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York, the New York Department of Consumer Affairs, the Internet Crime Complaint Center, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, my payment card service provider, and the IRS for possible tax fraud. Additionally, I filed a lawsuit in Civil Court of the City of New York, County of Kings (Brooklyn), Kings Small Claims Court. Think wisely before placing an order with EZContacts.com—don’t let slick websites, flashy coupon discounts, and fake positive reviews fool you.
