Below is what I wrotte to Family Mobil, based on my coversation with a Customer Service representative.

Dear Representative,

I am requesting a credit on my phone bill account # ... -related phone# ......          

I received a letter expressing regret I have canceled Family Mobile Phone services.  The next line on the letter says I have an outstanding balance of 88.20.    There must be an error an your part. I was paying for my service every month - postpayments - of $88.20,     my last payment was posted on 11/16/2013. I only used the phone service for 15 days, from November 17 through December 2, 2013. I do not uderstand why your letter states I owe a full moth of service. I am  requestin a prorated final bill for 15 daya from Dec. 2 to Dec.17, when I receive it, I will gladly make a payment in full. I do believe, a well known company,- T-Mobile- would not even contemplate engaging in unethical business conduct. Please remit the final at your earliest convinience


Note: What I expected when I canceled my service was exactly what I requested above, a prorated bill, as any reputable company/ business would have done without question. Instead, I received a bill for a full moth of service. I have a very strong reason to believe, that Family Mobil sends these bills out to customers as a practice. The company is fully aware that customers only used partial moths of servive. When I contacted Customer Service, the representative said there was nothing they were able to do about the bill, but pay it up. Then, I was provided with a non working  email address address to try to find a resolution  creditrequest@familymobil.com
