Famous Characters Inc. supposedly will set up a dedicated web site, plus Google page ranking, to market toys. The claim is that they possess "sole distribution rights" for all Disney character based product. On their "training manual" is Mickey Mouse, the Cars-Disney-Pixar logo, plus Bugs Bunny, Sponge Bob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer, and the Nickelodean logo. "Tony" did not verbally claim to represent Warner Bros, nor the others, but theses images convey the idea. For a company which is supposed to be building web sites, theirs is junk. None of the www.myfamouscharacters.com links work. No products, no prices, no means to communicate with them, except for phone numbers, and U.S. mail. The chief criminal here is (reputedly) someone named "David Flint", I do not know if he even exists, but the others certainly do. "Tony", "Butch", and "Keith" are (in my opinion) serial liars, and con-men. I reported them to the Attorneys General of two states, two municipal police depts, the I.R.S., the F.B.I., the U.S. postal svc., Visa, Mastercard, Bank of America, the Dept of Taxation, (state of Calif.), Lifelock, Disney-Pixar, Warner Bros. Nickelodean, and you!

Beware Of Licensed Cartoons Corp.

AUTHOR: jim - ()

POSTED: Monday, December 08, 2014

There are three companies in California who are marketing this opportunity going under different company names and the marketing materials are all similar.  Company name is different, founders are different.  It's all the same scam.

Characters Club LLC is no longer in business.  Personally was scammed for the starter kit of $39.95 plus $14.95 Shipping.

Beware of Famous Characters, Inc.  20631 Ventura Boulevard Unit 304 Woodland Hills, CA 91364

Personally I think these companies are one corporation operating under different names.  These companies claim to be BBB Accredited Businesses.

The addresses on their envelopes are all P.O Box numbers.  They are using the Post Office address followed by Unit or Suite.

All the mail is delivered to their Postal P.O Box number.

SAVE YOUR MONEY, FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB TO PUT THESE BUSINESSES OUT OF BUSINESS.  "If It Sounds To Good To Be True"  It probably is.  Due Your Due Diligence and you'll never be scammed again.

"(basically)"?!

AUTHOR: This Is My Display Name - ()

What do you mean "(bassically) criminal behavior"?

There's no "basically" about it. You accused them of "gross malfeasance" and "grand theft". That's accusing them of criminal behavior, plain and simple. You also accused David Flint of BEING a criminal.

So what's with the "(basically)"? Trying to make yourself look better by downplaying the words you used after you realized you were wrong?

Second Thoughts

AUTHOR: Mike Labor - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 11, 2014

After reviewing my report against Famous Characters Inc., I now think that i was rash to file the complaint. It turned out that all that tony and Butch had promised me, did in fact occur with the exception that it took about 15 days longer that I had been first informed that it would. Further, the complaint against the web site; that it did not work, was a temporary thing, and the site has been running fine now for well over a week. I wish now, that i had been a bit more patient, before flying off the handle, and accusing these folks of (basically) criminal behavior.
