I spent nearly three thousand hard earned dollars buying a new lawn and garden tractor at Farm and Fleet. Unfortunately, their promise to do repairs and service the products they sell is questionable. About a year after buying the new tractor, it needed new replacement parts. I brought it to the Farm and Fleet in Bourbonnais where I bought it and it was like the people at the small engine repair desk were intentionally trying to send me somewhere else to get a repair. There was an assistant manager who had a tough time figuring out the use of the computer to process my request for repairs. He then told me when one of his workers shouted out "three week back up" that it would be at least 21 days until they got around to it. Other people in the line at the small engine repair desk laughed out loud and were amazed to hear this. The people at Farm and Fleet felt no shame in this.
So........obviously Farm and Fleet is not going to provide a loaner for three weeks. My advice to people in Kankakee county: don't buy lawn tractors from Farm and Fleet........because they do not have the leadership in management to provide an effective "service department".
Three weeks is not acceptable in any business. Wake up Farm and Fleet. Hire some more people to do the work, don't make customers suffer for your ineptness.
Count on me buying a Deere in the future, from the John Deere Dealer. They provide great service. Even during peak season (Because they have the good sense to increase work service capacity when seasonal demand increases).
