I have been dealing with this man, Thomas F. Farrell, since December 2004. He and Mr. Seldin are lawyers ACTING as a collection agency.

Mr. Farrell represented Lowe's Credit Card in collection on an account. He issued a summons, to which I appeared. Before speaking to the judge, he told me that the judge would probably tell me that I would need to choose between paying the entire $2000 plus balance within 7 days, or spend 6 months in jail.

He went on to tell me how tough jail is for a woman, especially a single mother whose daughter would be placed in foster care. He told me that if I chose to speak to the judge, the ruling would cause me to lose my teaching license. He harrassed me into agreeing to his insane terms.

I agreed to monthly payments so high that I was having to count coins to made sure my daughter could eat lunch at school. Only later did I find out that had I refused his terms, since I had maintained the same job for 5 years, and had I explained to the judge that this debt was the result of an abusive boyfriend stealing my credit cards, the judge would have cut the balance in half and set affordable payments.

MR. FARRELL IS A LIAR!!!

Because of Mr. Farrell, and more so because of the abusive man stealing my credit cards and maxing them all out, I have filed for bankruptcy. In the bk documents it states that "creditors may not take certain actions...including starting or continuing lawsuits." Well, guess what, Mr. Farrell, who is supposedly educated in the law, went and filed another lawsuit anyway. This is even though that credit card requested the account be dropped. Mr. Farrell ignored the credit card company's request, and the law, and has filed suit anyway.

Mr. Farrell is an "educated attorney" who is a liar and a lawbreaker. His licenses to practice law and to run a collection agency should be revoked!

Here's to learning more about the law!
