I purchased services from Fax.com in 2012 ; However, I was not happy with the fax services that they have provided, in may of 2013 after spending several unsuccessful minutes online trying to cancel the services, I sent them an email requesting to cancel the account and stop charging my credit card, However, I noticed that they charged 9.99 on my account for the month that the services were cancelled  At that time I called Fax.com and asked them to credit my $9.99 back to my credit card account, and told them about me canceling the services through email. They refused to credit my account, and did not bother to file a dispute with my credit card company for $9.99 and let them keep the money.

Fortunately my credit card expiration date was on June 2013, and fax.com did not have updated information so, they could no longer charge my credit card. Sometime in the middle of June I received an email from fax.com telling me that my account was placed on hold and services was terminated asking me to go online and update my credit card information to reactivate my account. I responded with an email, and told them that account were cancelled month ago, and no longer needing their services

More than a 2 months after cancellation I noticed that the FAX. COM. Have charged my credit card for two monthly charges. I was extremely pissed, did not know how they could charge my credit card.  My credit card was expired, and I never gave them the new expiration date or any other information.  My fax services were cancelled. So I called fax.com and asked them for my money back. Told them that they have charged my account for services that was not provided and the account was cancelled. (Per Fax.com Emails).

Again they refused to refund my money because the contract said I had to call them for cancellation, email cancellation is not a right way. Also, it does not matter if they do not provide you with any services, they have the rights to charge your credit card until you find someone to answer the phone and provide you with the cancellation number then he said; sometime it may take a few try because they are not always available. Anyhow, Fax.com not only ripped me off for 3 months charges while they did not provide any services, they charged me another $4.78 as well for few extra days.

FAX.com is one of the wores and dying company that I ever dealt with. When a Company ripping off  the customers (stakeholders) out of a few dollars here and there, It means they have financial trouble and trying to stay alive.  Good luck to them. I hope my $35 help them to stay out of the water because that was the very last $ they ever going to still from me.
