We took our package to Goin Postal in Griffin, GA to ship a computer to someone in Arizona and asked that they package the computer up in a better box, and prepare for shipment.  They asked us to leave it and they would do so and then let us know in the morning how much it would cost.  In the morning I called, I was told by the owners Brother that he needed more time to prepare the package as he stated he was busy.

At 3pm I went to the facilities and he showed me the package and said he repackaged the box in a larger box and charged us for the additional packaging and shipping rates.  We paid a total of $64.50 in shipping costs including $700 insurance for Fedex shipping.  This was November 18th.  I received an email from the client who said it arrived scratched and the internal parts of the computer laying in the bottom of the tower, wires disconnected.  He said the stuffing from the internal box was gone when he received the box.  He sent me photos of this which shows this and scratches all over the top and side of the computer case.

The Goin Postal store was contacted and they claimed the customer may have done this to get another computer, FEDEX claim was filed but a week after the claim was sent through said that they needed more photo's of the inner packaging.  I had the client send me a total 18 photos of package inside and out and that wasn't good enough.  FEDEX is stalling on this claim and I know we didn't ship this computer in this condition.  We tested it throughly and all was working fine.  Fedex and Goin Postal dropped the ball on this one and I am out the money on this computer now and neither wants to accept responsiblity.

I requested that Federal Express issue a call tag for this computer and as of Wednsday have it back in my office unopened because I fully intend to file a lawsuit against Federal Express and Goin Postal as neither will accept responsibility.  We paid Goin Postal's Eric Bailey to package this computer.  Anthony Bailey has the nerve to say that the customer who is 70 years old damaged the computer to commit fraud.  This is the statement from this customer, " Why would they think I damaged my own computer that I paid hard-earned money for? I could have walked down the street and bought one. That's nuts. I feel that the box was gone through at "goin postal" as the only packing was the air pillows around the perimeter of the outer box. None in the computer box itself. I thought that was odd, too, especially since the side was off when I got it."(Axtell)

Mr. Bailey asked me to leave it with him Nov 17 to repackage and come back on the 18th of November to settle up.  I called them at 9am and Eric Bailey told me to give him to 3pm as he hasn't had time to package it yet.  We have used Goin Postal before for smaller shipments and always had the package ready but Mr. Bailey said that Fedex would not pay a claim the way it was packaged so he said he would package it up so it would pass their standards.  We agree to leave it and upon arrival at 3:30 it was packaged and ready to go.  We paid the fees including the insurance and left.  We insured it for $700 and paid $64.50 total for shipping and insurance.  Below is photos of the box upon it coming back to me.  You be the judge.
