FFO Home Furnishings FFO Furniture Bonded Leather?? A JOKE!!! Springfield Missouri

I took my elderly Mother to FFO Home Furniture to purchase a new sofa and loveseat in 2012. She wanted something that 

was going to last because she knew it would be the last living room furniture she would be purchasing. We went to FFO because of the ads on tv. We were greeted and talked into buying a "bonded leather" sofa and reclining loveseat. We were assured that the "bonding" was not plastic but that it wears just like leather. In fact that it is bonded with leather and a special process that gives the furniture a lot of durability and in fact would last her for several years! NOT! So, I called the company to find out about the warranty because after a year and a half, it's falling apart.

I called Mary at FFO and asked her exactly what "Bonded Leather" is and she kept putting me off saying that she has 2 buttons to push so she could print a receipt (which I never asked for) she kept talking and I said that she could tell me what this Bonded Leather is instead of talking. She Finally told me it is a fabric bonded with strips of leather with a paper backing!!The warranty is only good for one year though. 

Now remember, my Mother is elderly, in fact she is 85 years old and lives alone. If this doesn't last for her, it isn't going to last for anyone.The hole is so large on the loveseat that you could fit a softball in it. $500. down the drain! I have tried to find duct tape that will match but can't.

I am So upset with this company that my Mother has to live with this ugly, taped piece of garbage in her home that I can hardly stand it.Why can't businesses train their people to be honest? Mom bought a sofa and loveseat and spent $1085.00 on this furniture and it looks like junk. Be wary about what you buy but Where you buy. They will never see another penny from anyone I know. It's shameful!!!
