So these people called my husband last weekend, told him he owed $1700 on an outstanding Kays bill from 2010. Ironically I had just pulled my husbands credit report last week and guess what. There was a Kays on his credit that was opened in 2005, closed in 2010 with a zero balance and never late. So when I heard of this I knew something didn't sound right. Also the fact that a character named "David Vera" called his work number looking for him to "serve" him was odd. (I also have quite a bit of legal experience under my belt. The fact that they were saying they were wanting to "serve" him with some papers prompted me to head to the circuit clerk online records. If there is an open lawsuit you can find documents online regarding this where they have been filed with the court house before you are ever "served.")

When my husband called them back that day they were very adamant about getting his banking information so the matter could be resolved and he wouldn't have to go to court. Luckily He did not do so. I checked with the circuit clerk and there had not been anything filed with the court house.

They called his cell phone number again on Monday but he did not answer. So I called them back at 855-418-2313. They answered the phone "Customer Service" and when I asked the lady what company this was she hesitated, so I pressed harder. She gave the name of "Fillmore Davis". I googled the company, I came up with an article about Greys Anatomy...classic. I got put on hold for 4 mins, hung up, called back 2 more times and each time asked the name of the company which they danced around all three times. I kept getting put on hold, so I would hang up and call back. Finally I told the last guy that I knew this was a scam. He asked me for my name and number but i refused. He stated that he had my number on his caller ID. I went off on him and he hung up on me.
