I recieved a call from a Ms. Chelsea Winston at the end of April. She told me about this great way of being able to have my own credit card with up to $3000.00, an interest rate of 14%, and Min. payments of 3% of whats charged on the card. All I have to do is pay a one time amount of $299.00 and I would recieve my card in the mail, and pre-activated. I was uncertain if I should agree with it so I asked Ms. Winston if she could call me back the next day.

That would give me time to consult someone before I make up my mind. Ms. Winston told me this was a one time offer and if I pass it up now, I would not have another chance. So, I asked her if she would not pull the money from my bank until the 3rd of May. That way I would have time to consult a friend and if I chose to go through with it I would have time to get the money in my bank.

If I chose not to I would have time still to cancel. The very next business day I called back to First Atlantic's Customer Service number and told a gentleman (If you would consider him one) that I wanted to cancel my order. He told me okay and that I should be recieving a phone call from someone. Needless to say I did not recieve a phone call and I did not think much of it, other than I assumed that the only reason they would call me is to try to talk me out of it. So when they didn't call, I wasn't concerned about it.

However, on May 10th, First Atlantic Savings pulled $299.00 from my account. At the time I did not have any money in my account so I had to come up it not only the $299.00 but also overdraft charges from my bank as well. I did not have the money in my bank because it was my Rent money, and I had only considered using my rent money to purchase this credit card and then I could pay on more than just my rent. Like I said though I had made the choice not to go through with it the very next day that Chelsea called me, I thought my order was canceled. And it should have been.

As soon as I found out that they pulled the money, I imediately called customer service and told them they had better put my money back or else. I was told that a supervisor would call me back in the next 24 hrs. I told them I wanted a supervisor this min. They said there was none at that time.

So I waited and when no one called me back in 24 hrs, I called F.A.S. back and told them I wanted a supervisor now and I was very angry. That is when I spoke to Preston Langley and he was so ignorant and rude I could not believe the way he spoke to me and treated me. He told me that if I didnt want the order than

I shouldn't have purchased it and he told me I would just have to deal with it. He also argued with me as if we were two children having a sibling rivalry. Can you believe it! He was just disgusting about the way he spoke to me. He also told me that they had no such thing as a cancelation process. He also told me that what Ms. Winston told me about the card being pre-activated was a lie. He pushed the issue that I would recieve my package in the mail.

I told him I dont want the package, I want my refund. He refused to even so much as acknowledge what I said, he just continued to be rude, and tell me tuff. After I hung up with him I called back to ask to speak to Preston's supervisor and I was told that someone would call me back in 24 hrs.

This time I was speaking to Tim. I asked for a phone number and was told that this is the only number. I asked for an email and hetold me that they were the only ones who could emil the Administration. I told him the story and he said he would send an email to the administration and they would call me.

So again I waited and waited and still have NOT recieved ANYTHING at all in the mail. Everytime I called I was on hold anywhere from 20 to 45 min. And everytime I called I explained my situation and was told something totally different by someone else.

I called again and this time I spoke to Rosalynn. She acted shocked that I still hadnt recieved anything in the mail, and about the way Preston treated me and that I still had no refund. I thouhgt finally I had reached someone who cared.

I can't tell you how wrong I was. Any way, again I explained everything to her and she gave me the p.o. box address and told me to write to the Administration. So I wrote the letter and waited and waited and finally called again to F.A.S. and was told that someone in Administration would be calling me back within 24 hrs.

Ever since my last contact with someone at F.A.S. now wvery time I call I get a voice message that says to please call back during business hours, it is during business hours. So here I am it is now July 15th, I still have recieved nothing in the mail and I am in debt more than $299.00 and thats just from my bank.

I dont mean to make this sound like a sob story but I am a single mother of 2 beautiful children, one witch has special needs and I recieve no child support because he wont pay and I can only work part time, and make just enough to barely eat, because of my childrens health needs. $299.00 may not seem like a lot of money, for me it would pay an entire months worth of rent.
