I scheduled a move with First Call Movers, on August 7, 2013 and I initally had some concerns with the quote the gent gave me but the agent assured me that they would be the ones moving my furniture but I couldn't shake the feeling that the quote he gave me was to low, so I talked it over with my uncle who has driven trucks for over thrity yearsand he told me the quote was to low. So I decided to cancel the move with first call movers and I call my moving agent back who tells me to email him my request to cancel which I do. I receive a confirmation email that my request for cancellation was received and forwarded to bathe bookkeeper and that the move was cancelled, now this is where the scam begins I've been trying for 16 days to obtain my deposit off $300.00 dollars that I initally put down I keep getting the run around that they are putting in a request with the bookkeeper this company is nothing but a rip-off and scam Artist. I wouldn't advise anyone to use them.
