FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!! Bank blocked company from taking money out of my account. I had $7.32 but the tranction was $8.57. First Convencience Bank Bank acted as is they were doing me a favor by blocking this transaction and saving me the overage charge. WRONG!!! This bank is a SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!

They ROB and Steal from  our Community!!! They block traction 2 times then charged me for the same transaction 2 times on top of $2 fees per day starting the first day you are late. They said that it is your fault and there is nonthing they can do about it. First Convenience Bank never contact you when an unauthorized transaction is coming through not either when they take out their fees because they want the fees to keep going up!!!

They would not allow you to close your account with a negative balance and they knows you do not want it on your credit report, therefore, they forces you to pay them. SHAME ON YOU First Convenience Bank for robbing our community!!! DO NOT BANK WITH First Convenience, AKA First NAtional Bank Texas!!!

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Not the bank's fault

With all due respect, you stated in your report that you were trying to make a purchase for an amount greater than the funds available in your account. According to federal banking regulation E, you must "opt in" your account to be  able to over draw you account. If you opted out or made no election then you would not be allowed to overdraft and the transaction would be declined. If you look through the disclosures you received upon opening your account, it states on the first page that First Convenience charges a two dollar fee for each declined transaction explaining the fees that you had stated came as a daily fee for being over drawn.

Your account would not be charged a negative balance maintenance fee until the sixth consecutive day that the account has been overdrawn. I would suggest reading through the paperwork that was given to you when you signed for your account or talking to a banker before making accusations of fraud. The ability to overdraw your account is a privilege to be used responsibly in emergencies, no bank will pay items that you do not have the funds for without some kind of penalty. Claiming a reputable company to be thieves is childish and irresponsible. I wish you luck in the future and sincerely hope that you become better informed and do not have this issue again.
