Intended to make a move within the same complex last fall and tried to be proactive and did an address change with First Premier. Within days decided not to make the move and had the post office delete the change of address. All other creditors were able to deal with that change. Lost my job in January and as I am trying to get life back on track, I realized that I had not been receiving statements from First Premier and called them last week. I followed up on what I was told to check on and was told  by the post office that the change was recinded in plenty of time and there was no reason for my statements being sent back to them as the woman I spoke to on the phone told me was happening. I asked her if we could come to some agreement since I felt there was shared responsibility for the problem. Instead I was told that First Premier NEVER would make a mistake and that all calls are recorded. She began demanding that I pay the past due immediately. Interestingly, when I got my mail today, there were 2 seperate letters from First premier letting me know my cards were canceled. hese letters were generated the day of my call. 4-24.  I was also told during that call that I would be receiving a statement qwhich was generated 4-20, as of today, 5-6 it hasn't come, the letters did. Aazingly, both Capital One and Capital One Auto Finance both were able to find me after the address change. I also have been reachable by phone but no message has ever been left.

First Premier is the Sub-Prime of Sub-Prime Credit Cards.  They will issue just about anyone a card regardless of how screwed up your credit is.  So in a way it is no wonder that you came up with what of course as a Sub-Prime borrower sounds totally logical.

But here is where your claims fail.  Your credit card is due on the same date every month..this is by FEDERAL law so don't say that First Premier doesn't follow that.  As a person who has had credit issues in the past you should be the one who has learned from your past mistakes and been right on top of your bills realizing that the moment you missed the first bill you needed to be on the phone calling them.  Yet you are expecting them to be your mom and dad and babysit you making sure you are okay...BUZZ...wrong answer. Oh and if you say you have too much going on to "remember" about all of your bills, there is a wonderful thing called a Calendar where you can write important dates as reminders to yourself.  You can still pick one up at your local dollar store, or even make one on your own.

Another fail on your claim is that you claim to be 4(?) months behind, yet apparently they never contacted you.  Umm...if you read other reports of First Premier by people who are also not paying their bill you hear that they get CALLED repeatedly.  Yet you claim to not have received a single call...again Ummm.  So I guess your excuse for this is that they are just setting you up for failure because at the same time you told the Post Office you were moving, you gave the Post Office a new Phone Number as well.

But the final nail in your claim is the fact that you stated you lost your job in January.  So are you saying that only if they had sent you a statement you would have made sure you paid them.  Yea, and I have a bridge in San Francisco for sale.

As for the reason that everything was generated on the day you called...because until then they didn't know where you lived.

Well I hope you enjoy your sub-prime life because it appears with your attitude you are going to be living it for quite a while.  Oh and no I do not work for this or any other Credit Card.
