First Select Travel Travel Center/Fun Time Travel The story I was told was that First Select Travel buys back corporate vacation packages and you are able to resell them at wholesale prices. I was then given the speech about how I had 15 months and all vouchers were transferable ..and I could even sell them if I decided I did not want to travel. What you failed to tell me was I would be dealing with, so far, THREE different agencies, all of which claim no responsibility for the $$ I gave you and each one asking for MORE money. You give people 72 hours to cancel knowing FULL WELL we won't find any of this out within that 72 hours. I want my money back.$378.00 paid on December 20, 2014.I work hard for my $$. This is just cruel! Clarksburg Maryland

I received a fax at my job for discounted travel packages. I called the number and asked the guy if this was for real. I was told First Select Travel buys back unused corporate travel packages and resells them at discounted price so they don't lose money. Sounds good right?  Think again.  I gave them $378 to "book" the vacation and had 72 hours to cancel. I was to await an email confirmation to continue the booking process. Two weeks later I contacted them looking for my booking instructions. I was then contacted by "The Travel Center" who required an additonal $69 per person to "book" my vacation.  Ok, so now I've booked it twice right?  Next day I receive an email from yet a third party, "Fun Time Travel" asking for $50 per couple to "book" my vacation. At this point I've become very suspicious and I googled "Fun Time Travel" the BBB gives all three of these companies and "F" I am guessing I should have done that first.

If you were truly innocent travel center and funtime

Then you would honor the request for a refund.  You hide behind your "they didnt read our terms and conditions" knowing full well that if we didn't sign them believing what you told me over the phone, that the vacation we thought we bought would be gone.

I called before I signed your "papers" YOU told me when I asked the procedure on the phone that you were the place that activated the vacation I bought.  ok, so I activated.  Then I heard nothing for 2 weeks, I called again.  Oh, we are not the booking comany, you will get an email that tells you what to do next"  ok, so I get the email and find the specific vacation I bought is not listed on the fun time site.  I call again YOU tell me They will book the vacation you want, it is ok.

I call again because on their site it does not show airfare.  YOU TELL ME "airfare is included, don't worry" and all I need to do is send them the 50.00 and they will send me a quote for the rest of the fees.

SCAMMER.  the "rest of the fees" quote was more than if I went on google and booked the whole thing myself, and I got a rental car out of it to boot.  You lead people, collect fees, and then say "not my fault"

If you were truly repeptable as you claim to be, you would refund all the "fees" that were paid to you when a refund is requested.

That is the problem with this whole scam first select travel takes no responsibility for the travel center or Funtime and travel center and fun times takes no responsibility for first select travel yet you were all connected, obviously, how else would you have gotten our information.  Don't insult my intelligence by telling me I should have read the fine print.  By the time they got my money it was too late and you all knew it I agree you should all go to jail.

But you are part of the problem

You take the referrals knowing full well what is going on, that is why you put that in your terms and conditions.  It is to late to get a refund out of first select travel, so either the person signs your bogus terms, or they are out all together.  They don't know you will be ripping them off with your fees also, then give an over inflated quote you know they won't buy, so you keep the 69.00 and 50.00 fees.  Yep, quite the scam.  You all should go to jail.

TRAVEL CENTER & FUNTIME PROCESSING ARE NOT THE BAD GUYS

Please go to the report on Travel Center to find out why they are not a scam and have done absolutly nothing wrong.

If the consumer read all the documentation givin to them and read the terms and conditions on the Travel Center site they would clearly see that Travel Center and Funtime have nothing to do with the issues the are having with Select Travel in TEXAS!!!
