Well, I'm the latest "victim" in the "banned without reason club!"

I have been a faithful seller and buyer of more than 100 gigs to date.  (gigs are small jobs you complete or you buy from members of the micro-job website.)  Today I was banned by Fiverr.com accused of "violating their Terms of Service"-- I read in full when I signed up their entire terms of service.  I reviewed their terms of service again when I received notification today of the fact that they would not be reinstating my account.

I received the following message:
Ryan - Fiverr's Customer Support Team, Jan 26 20:55 (IST):Hello ,We are unable to reinstate your account at this time.  Users who violate our Terms of Service and get their account permanently
blocked can receive their revenues (if any) after a safety clearing
period. Please contact us again in 45 to 90 days. We will allow
you to withdraw revenues you may have left in your account at that time,
after an account verification process. You can read more about our Terms of Service here

and they provided a link to their terms of service-- with NO reference to what terms of service I had violated.  Since this message- I have submitted 6 "help desk tickets" to which I have received no response.  I have tried logging into my account to find that I am not able to access any information within the Fiverr platform- including my money- the funds I earned from having completed more than 60 jobs-- all delivered on time with glowing remarks and 100% quality score.

As per their terms, you have to wait a full 14 days after a "gig" is complete to withdraw your funds.  This gives them plenty of time to allow accounts to accrue a balance to which they can simply shut the account down and take the money without explanation and without due process.

Do not under any circumstances put your faith in this site.  Not all job sites like Fiverr are bad--there are dozens that are amazing and I'm guessing, not run by a group of scam artists and thieves.  Micro-job site provide an amazing opportunity for people to derive a nice income by simply sharing knowledge and skills at an affordable price.  Businesses can enjoy outsourcing at a very reasonable and sensible price to help them maximize their bottom line and minimize overhead.

Fiverr has let a lot of people down... after doing some research- there are many who have been banned before me without explanation! As such, it has seemed, those people have also not received their money after the designated "45-60 days" as stated in their terms of service.

I have hundreds of dollars sitting in their account-- the buyers of my gigs have their deliverable, Fiverr has the money and I'm out twice over--time and money.  Do not do business with Fiverr.
