SEO Reputation Management at its best!

fling.com is a pay-service singles site.

I live in a rather small town. I accidentally clicked a link to this site. It showed me "singles in 'my' area". There were 20 accounts within 20 minutes driving. I couldn't believe it! Jackpot! So I figured one month for 24$ was worth some good fishing.

I have gotten 2 private messages from 2 sovereign accounts. Each account has a unique picture, description and name. However, both accounts asked me to contact them offsite. Here's the kicker- they both pointed to the same hotmail account! Busted!

My analysis is that the site uses masses of fake accounts to lure you in. It then responds to your messages.

I consider it false advertisement.

I hope the owners of the site are reading this. This is the difference between a legit singles site and those that are not.

This is less of a false advertising incident, than it is a fact of the internet.
The ads look at your ip host, and guesses whereabout live.
The photos are stock-pictures of girls that correlate to the (ahem) type of website that you are ono; and the location is always just a guess--I've seen results pop up from similarly spelled cities in different states!
