My 83 year old mother was cold-called by a man who misleadingly represented himself as a representative of a local water utility. He offered her a free water test saying nothing about selling anything. She allowed him to come to her home, where he did some hocus-pocus with chemicals, transforming her water into a sludgy-looking liquid. After a lot of scare tactics about the terrible quality of Florida water and telling her that her health was at risk, he talked her into signing a contract with the usual "special price only available right now." As soon as she signed, an installation crew magically appeared at her front door. They went to work immediately, despite the fact that her community requires approval for any type of changes to yards. Now there is large, unsightly white equipment that is an eyesore for her neighbors, and she is in trouble with the howeowners association, which will involve spending more money to remedy the situation (in addition to the $4,295 FWA charged). I was told that all local companies of this type have been informed by the HA that any installations must be pre-approved. There was a three-day window to cancel the contract but my mother did not tell any of us about it until a week later. My father died in February and she has had a hard time being on her own.

First of all, I would like to know who your mother is, so we may visit her home and inspect the installation. If in fact it was installed improperly, we will immediately rectify it. Second of all, if you feel the water from the tap is just fine, what facts are you basing this on? Numerous reports have stated information quite the contrary. If you care about your mom, I would assume you want what is best for her, correct? Look into the water quality in her area, what has been reported, and let us know if you are OK with the risks to her health. Third, we do direct mail, which is different from cold calling. I am sure your mom invited us by filling out a card for the free water test. She initiated the visit. And I appreciate you saying what we do is magic, but it is on fact just being efficient. What is wrong with getting something you want on the same day you bought it? We don't do hocus pocus, we do real testing. We're you there or are you just guessing? Lastly, what do you think it is worth to fix the water for the whole house and for the drinking water to include a lifetime warranty, lifetime service, high quality made in the USA equipment, and the peace of mind that water is now the least of her concerns? If you knew what we know about the water, you would have one of our systems in your house too. Please call us immediately so we may fix any issues that may exist. See, this is the problem with this site. We have no idea who the complaining party is, who the customer is, if in fact there really is a problem or just a competitors bashing or a will hungry child.
