Been working here for a few months. All my paycheques are never paid at the end of the pay period. While the president Lorne Borinzoff hasn't missed a meal, mine has thanks to his cheap budget.

The President of this company would rather pay inexperienced university students to do the companies payroll then hire one or more people in the company so employees get paid on time.

The company and its affiliates suffer. Employees become undervalued and lazy while other businesses that depend on getting paid for their contract work quit doing work. The overall business and affiliates suffer.

If employees try to speak out by talking to their managers or file a complaint with the Ministry of Labour, they get reprimanded or terminated. If I wasn't so desperate to provide for my family and run down from looking for other work, I would quit.

I cannot file with the Ministry of Labour because they will fire me most likely by making something up. I watched them fire several employees after a few filed with the Ministry.

Do not work for this company or it's affiliates like Service Metrics. You will wait a long time to be paid and your bills can't wait. You will be ripped off and we all deserve better.

Service Metrics - disorganized and rude

AUTHOR: Henry - (Canada)

POSTED: Sunday, September 11, 2016

This company actually DOES pay, although you'll need to ask them specifically which jobs the cheque is for, as the payroll department can't be bothered to tell you on the cheque stub.  They don't pay particularly well, and are unlikely to understand the concept of compensating you for your mileage and driving time.

The company is very disorganized and frequently demonstrates poor or non-existent communication within its own office.  Shoppers are blamed for communication issues, and some of the staff can always be relied upon for their extreme rudeness.  I suspect that there is a high turnover of management, although they seem to be hidden behind a wall anyway, as they can not be contacted regarding serious issues.
