In July of 2014 I contracted with what was Mac Contracting for a new roof on my home. We worked with my insurance to have it covered due to recent storms and I gladly provided them with the near 6000$ insurance payment. I am now 10 months later still waiting for our roof to be installed or even get a call.
This company is full of nothing but excuses, poor communications and down right thievery. At the end of last year we were finaly able to reach the President of the company, Brent McClafferty, who recently was arrested for theft. When we did get ahold of him he reassured me that they were just horribly behind due to a very busy season and that he would call me in the next day when they got our schedule finalized. Two weeks later I received a certified letter stating that to ensure quality installation they would wait for the spring to come and install it right away.
Spring came and the company was sold to a new company, Forza Restroration Group who sent another letter again reassuring the importance of completing the work. We have called at least weekly and are well into the season where the roof can be installed and have not heard from the company.
In the meanwhile my roof leaks have gotten undoubtedly worse and I am unable to reach anyone for a schedule.
I am going to have to pay for an attorney and work with the Attorney General and BBB to hopefully recover this money so I can have the work done.

This company is a total fraud. We worked for them on a roofing job and have yet to see any money! They do not pay their crews. Keep lying and making excuses, i was even given a bad check once, for which i have reported them to the police department. Keep away from them!!

Interesting that a company that has nothing to do with MAC Contracting has a web address of http://www.macctng.com/#!/page_main . At least as of June 5, 2015. Click the link.
I too contracted with MAC Contracting in July 2014 to get a replacement roof. They gladly accepted the $11,000or so in insurance checks and then disappeared.

I was incorrect in my last statement in the owner of the company was not arrested for theft. I looked of Brent M and not Brett M. I do however stand behind the fact that this company is not reputable. They had a story on the local news here and are being investigated as there are others who are in the same situation where they have provided payment without the work being done nearly a year later.

This rebuttal is a response to the defamatory and libelous post by Traci Taylor. Ms. Taylor has never at any point-in-time been a client of Forza Restoration Group, Inc. Forza Restoration Group, Inc. is not nor has ever been Mac Contracting, Inc. We have referred this matter to our Corporate Legal Counsel to pursue legal action if this outrageous post is not removed.
