Starting in June of 2015, my wife and I began what we thought would be an opportunity to make a little extra money. We saw an advertisement on line for starting our own Internet Business, and called the number shown. The initial contact was with a company called EDU, and they sounded very legitimate. We were informed that for the amount of $7,000+- that we would be taught the basics of starting our own inernet website to sell specific items.

This was all well and good, and we started this process with EDU. We were told that we would be contacted by a company called Foundation Business Services (FBS), and that they would be partnering with EDU to complete our education, and to help us establish our business, and website. The first time that we had a conversation with FBS we were told that we needed to cough up an additional $8,000+-. We were told that this would enable FBS to get started with our additional training. We were reluctant, but under pressure from them we agreed to pay the additional funds.

Then on June 30, 2015, we were again contacted by FBS, and told that in order to facilitate the building of our website that we needed to "invest" an additional $8,900+-. Now at this point we had spent our savings, and nearly maxed out all of our credit cards in order to avail ourselves of this opportunity. After much discussion we relented, and agreed to go forward with this deal!? In order to pay for this installment, we had to increase our limits on a couple of credit cards, and FBS said that they would finance $500 of the amount! We were told that we would have 72-hours to change our mind, and would be able to opt out of the agreement.

On July 01, 2015, after sleeping on it, we decided to exercise our 72-hour right to cancel the contract. We drafted a letter to a James (Jack) King at FBS, and faxed the letter to FBS, at the following number - 1-307-462-0547. Within 4-hours of the time that we faxed the letter to them, we received a phone call from Jack King imploring us not to cancel the agreement. We talked to King for what seemed to be hours, and they are good sales people, versed in ways to push all of the right buttons. We finally came to an agreement! The agreement was that FBS would deduct $1,000 from the amount of the contract, and they were also supposed to cancel the $500 contract through FBS for the remaining $500 that they agreed to finance. We unfortunately agreed to the above.

To make a long story short, we never received the support from FBS that we were supposed to, and our on-line business never, has gotten its website that would enable us to go live with our on-line business. And, come to find out FBS never canceled the $500 contract, and now we have an indignant collection service, RMS, hounding us for the balance, and threatening, to ruin our credit if we don't pay up. Where is FBS now, we can't find them!!
